Good news for fans of the long-running found footage V/H/S franchise! The latest installment, V/H/S Beyond just announced their official premiere date and lineup. This new entry in the franchise has a sci-fi spin and is set to debut on Shudder on October 4th. V/H/S is known for delivering a stacked lineup of filmmakers, this time is no exception, but you’ll see some familiar names not necessarily associated with being behind the camera. Kate Siegel making her directorial debut with a script written by Mike Flanagan, the Long brothers teaming up behind the camera and V/H/S alum Justin Martinez back for more. We have some interesting elements at play for this next chapter, and can’t wait to see what’s in store for us this Halloween season.
V/H/S/Beyond is produced by Josh Goldbloom, James Harris, and Michael Schreiber and executive produced by Adam Boorstin. It follows the record-breaking sixth installment in the franchise, V/H/S/85, which debuted Friday, October 6, 2023, and became Shudder and AMC+’s most-watched exclusive film premiere of the year.
