Fastly Engineers detected a performance impacting event affecting our API & Configuration Management service.
Fastly Engineers detected a performance impacting event affecting the availability of manage.fastly.com. Customers may have experienced errors and timeouts during sign-up and account management from 15:17 to 17:45 UTC.
CDN delivery, stats aggregation, and all other data plane services were unaffected.

At 22:04 UTC on the 22nd of May 2024, Fastly Engineers were alerted to elevated errors with VCL configuration propagation.
Engineering has deployed a fix and this issue has been mitigated.

Following our retrospective of this incident, our Customer Escalations team updated our status post start time to reflect the earliest alert received by Fastly Engineers - start time has been confirmed as 13:38 UTC on the 21st of May 2024.

During this maintenance window our customers may experience temporary disruptions or degraded performance across some of the Fastly Application views.

Fastly will be performing maintenance on our Fastly Application control panel on the 13th of May 2024 from 19:00 to 19:05 UTC (~5 minutes). This update will introduce a user-friendly interface design to enhance your experience with:

We expect no performance issues related to customer configuration management or API services due to this update. Additionally, this release will not impact our network availability, point of presence locations, or any other products and services.
