I love me some hair tool tech. Curling hair can be so tiring, especially when you’re playing with inches and inches of wig hair. I love how this Beachwaver basically did all the hard labour for me. All I had to do is pinch the end portion of the hair so it grips onto the tool, and it took care of the rest. It’s pretty user friendly too as it didn’t take long to get to grips with it. Sure the spinning technology is not a curling tool essential, but it is perfect for those suffering from dexterity problems. It’s a lot gentler on the arms and it also makes curling hard to reach areas like the back of your head super easy. For its price point? I’d say we're onto a winner.

I've got a bob, so curlers can be hit and miss for me. This one, I loved. It’s very user friendly, taking just eight seconds per section of hair to curl and, since I have short blonde hair, it didn't give me that dry and brittle feel you can sometimes get from the heat. It also has dual rotation so you can turn your waves inward or outward.

It's so good even my sister tried to "borrow" it off me. The exterior is fun and glittery, but still feels luxe. It's truly a win-win. This Beachwaver B1 gave me salon curls without the salon price and just like that, it's got the top spot as my favourite curler. *Flicks hair.

I have naturally pin-straight hair and I really struggle to get it to hold a curl whatsoever, so any kind of tool that makes the whole process easier (and quicker) is one I'm eager to try. The Beachwaver took me a few goes to get the hang of, but once I had, it was a seamless process from then on.

It alleviates any of the usual agg you come across when styling your hair. It holds it in place and literally does the hard work of wrapping it round the barrel for you, sans any strands getting caught. You can adjust the temperature to suit the intensity – I went for the medium heat and held each section of hair around the wand for max 20 seconds. It gave me perfect curls that slowly dropped into relaxed waves by the end of the day, so I'll definitely be reaching for it again.

This beach waver is *exactly* what I need for bouncy, stay-all-day curls that my hair straighteners could *never* achieve. The speed at which optimum temperature is reached was impressive and I loved the tousled waves I could easily create in seconds. I'd have loved the tool to come with a protective mitt (I came close to burning myself a couple times) and I didn't find the auto-twist setting the easiest to operate (to be honest, my hair just got tangled). That said, using the waver manually gave me a better-than-desired effect and I've already used it countless times since my first try.

My hair is long and has a mind of its own. Sometimes it’s straight, sometimes it’s wavy and I even have ringlets from time to time. This makes styling my hair quite a challenge. I was excited to try out the Beachwaver curling iron, as I’m always up for trying something new on my hair and I was fascinated with how it self-rotates.

I have to admit, it took me a little while to feel fully confident when it came to using the rotating tool as, I didn’t want to burn my hair. However, once I’d got the hang of it, the whole process was easy. You just lock your hair into the bottom clip on the tongs and press the rotation button to curl your hair in your desired direction.

Overall, I was pleased with the final look. Another bonus? The black glitter design is adorable. If you’re a beginner with tongs, I would just recommend that you get to grips with how to use it before you go all out on your hair, because it can be a little fiddly at first.
