That's one way to make sure everyone can see your earrings.

Cardi B is a fan of a good piercing. I know that she used to have a tongue piercing, a Monroe piercing, an eyebrow piercing, and other piercings that have all seemed to come and go over the years. And I'm sure she's had her fair share of ear piercings, too, but considering she usually wears her hair long and down, so I haven't always gotten a clear glimpse. But thankfully, she gave us a clear look at her latest ear accessorisation by wearing her hair short enough to not obstruct our view.

On Monday, 24 June, Cardi posted a quick video to her Instagram Stories looking like a cutie in a Harvard sweatshirt, silver choker, and full face of neutral-glam makeup. But let's be so for real right now: Her hair was totally unexpected and stole the spotlight in the 10-second clip.

Cardi was serving up late '90s chic in a playful pixie cut. The deeply side-parted style has plenty of volume up top, sweeping in a fun wave toward the back, where the ends flip up a bit.

And while she gave us a side view of her hairstyle, we also got a good look at her ear. In addition to a traditional lobe piercing, Cardi showed off a conch piercing and a helix piercing. Each one hosted a diamond-covered hoop, and if you look carefully, you'll see that a chain connected the helix hoop to yet another piercing on the upper lobe.

Cardi B doesn't make it entirely clear which of the piercings are new, but she's happy to introduce viewers to her piercer, Harrison McCall, who works at Maria Tash in Los Angeles.

Will she continue sporting a short cut? Hard to say. But if she returns to long hair, we can only hope she opts for ponytails now and then to show off these pretty piercings.
