After a two year wait, The Boys season 4 finally dropped on Amazon Prime with its first set of episodes on 13 June, delighting fans as Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr and Erin Moriarty reprised their roles in the blissfully dark and twisted world of Supes vs civilians.
With season 4 set to be the penultimate series of the show, it will be comprised of eight episodes and will continue to see the lines between good and evil blurred as new characters enter the mix (we're looking at you, Ryan).
But with the stakes higher than ever, there's never been a better time for the band to get back together and figure things out, with the threat of Butcher's heart failure looming.

The Boys Season 4 plot
In case you need a refresher, season 4 takes place six months following the events of the previous season. Victoria Neuman (Claudia Doumit) has nearly muscled her way into the Oval Office under Homelander's control.
Meanwhile, Butcher has a few months to live, has lost Becca's son and has well and truly fallen out of the goodwill of the rest of The Boys, with the team sick of his lies.
But will they be able to reconcile in time to infiltrate Victoria Neuman's campaign and prevent Ryan being well and truly lost to the dark side?
