10th Annual Douglas Elliman Ride for Love 2022

On October 1, the 10th Annual Douglas Elliman Ride for Love took place, and not even the rain could wash out the amount of love and support from the dedicated riders! Ride For Love participants from Team Elliman raised enough money to feed all of God’s Love’s clients for two full days. This year’s Ride alone raised $213,910, funding 21,391 meals for New Yorkers in need.

Thank you to all of the riders, organizers, and supporters who all put so much work into training, organizing, and fundraising, and adapting with grace when plans had to change the day before due to inclement weather.

"It's not about the miles that we ride; It's about the meals that we provide."

Ten years ago, the Ride for Love was founded by a manager at Douglas Elliman who wanted to show his agents that they could accomplish difficult things when they focused on goals larger than themselves. To demonstrate this, he biked 100 miles to Douglas Elliman’s annual meeting, funding 357 meals for God’s Love We Deliver clients.

Today, we have more than 75 riders participating in this annual event, and our pack keeps growing. Over the past ten years, The Ride for Love has raised a grand total of $2,565,523 funding 256,552 meals for New Yorkers that are too sick to cook for themselves, not only surpassing the original goal to raise $1,5000,000 but continuously exceeding it.

While this year’s supported road ride in the Hamptons for the lengths of 25, 50, and 100 miles were canceled due to the storm, we could not be more thrilled that group stationary bike rides could still be held in the Bridgehampton Barn and in Manhattan at Hudson Yards, followed by a lovely gathering hosted by rider and Douglas Elliman agent Ann Cutbill Lenane.
