Cleveland Browns announce the passing of team mascot Swagger Jr.

The Cleveland Browns announced Tuesday that Swagger Jr., or S.J., has died.

The AKC bull mastiff and offspring of Swagger, joined the team in the fall of assuming the mantel from his dearly departed father.

"We are so grateful for his many years of loyal support and cherish all of the wonderful memories he helped create for fans young and old," the Browns said in a tweet.

A native of Rootstown, he weighed in at 125 pounds. He was born in 2018.

Swagger Jr. made his debut in Week 10 of the 2019 season, a 19-16 win over the Buffalo Bills.
