Each week on “The Pit Stop,” Trixie Mattel recaps the latest episode of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” season 16 alongside a guest host. Following Friday’s fourteenth episode, two time competitor and veteran “Pit Stop” guest Mo Heart rejoins Trixie for another chatty recap. In their conversation, Mo shares that they were in love with Xunami Muse this season and expected her to make the final four. Mo also knows Q personally and agrees with Trixie that her looks are “ridiculous” because “the boy can sew,” thinks Morphine Love Dion was sickening “from the moment she walked in,” and that the Sapphira Cristál “stumble” last episode gives the other girls a chance to win.
When it came to this episode, Mo likes the concept of the memoir challenge because it shows who is the good storyteller and sets them up for a lot of things they’ll experience after the show. Mo also shared their take on the art of branding and how that informed the reason they changed their own name to align it with many of their businesses. Nymphia Wind is the queen that stood out to Mo during the podcast segment and thinks that Plane Jane would be a good real podcast, but agreed with Trixie that in the context of this challenge it wasn’t giving. On the runway, both Trixie and Mo seemed underwhelmed with everyone in one way or another. In the Lip Sync for Your Life, they weren’t impressed that Jane took her clothes off because of the song and it amounted to a reliance on the body.
