The films HoG was up against had multiple nominations for Director and Picture or both. They also received nominations in the acting categories, leaving HoG bereft. I have no issue with the hair and makeup nom but Al Pacino deserved the Razzie for his caricature of an OTT perf. I’m not sure I understand the admiration for this movie, one of Scott’s worst and one that didn’t do Gaga nor any of the actors any favors. Maybe regionally.

Lol. I was talking about Best Picture nominees, which HoG was not; actors from those nominated BP films were contenders but nothing for HoG.

You’re wrong, it lead her to be booked on this Joker sequel and confirmed the ASIB success wasn’t a fluke, she confirmed her box office power (the high hyped rated R ‘Challengers’ couldn’t even surpass the 100M$ in a better box office climate), not to mention having people from the industry like Jane Campion advocating for her nomination.
She won a NYFCC, Gaga was underlined as the best thing from the movie even from the critics who didn’t like the movie as reported in the reviews summary on Rotten, being the best thing of a ‘mid’ movie it’s actually better than being overshadowed than other cast members like it happened for example to Robbie in ‘Barbie’.

Gucci was a smart move from Gaga. She had so much to do in that film and she got the critical acclaim. With Gucci, folks realized that actress Gaga had arrived

It doesn’t stink. The issue with Gucci was the editing which was caused by a rushed production. The problem is that a lot of people here just go with what others say. Once critics say this, they agree. Audiences are the major consumers of films and you know what they thought was stinking? The Lost Doll, Spencer and Ricardos

Well, Box office numbers, awards nominations-wins and being casted in a 1$ Billion dollar sequel are facts.. certainly not opinions.

The trailer reception has been extremely good, the audience has been proved to be there for her with both ASIB and HOG, when it comes to voters, she still got her first acting nomination with ASIB so if she has reviews and the passion for the role she should manage to get nominated again.
