Guys I’m genuinely curious, because this year is VERY competitive, do you believe the Grammys will bump up the GF nominees to 10? As well as bumping up other fields to 6 or 7 nominees?

Only way gf gets expanded is if cowboy carter is 9 0r 10. It was expanded in the first place, since the new Grammy president wanted kanye’s album at 9 included to make the GF less white that year.

Competitive years isn’t a reason to expand the nominees number. 8 is enough. No everyone has to be nominated for the Grammys. Let te best artists get it.

I don’t quite see the competitiveness. Competitive to me were 2021 and 2022 where there was a probable path for every top contender making the winners less-obvious.

2021:
Silk Sonic vs TonyXGaga vs Billie vs Jon vs Olivia.

2022:
Harry vs Adele vs Beyoncé vs Lizzo vs Brandi and maybe Kendrick.

To me, last year was so predictable and so is this year. I’m not that enthusiastic anymore and slowly weaning off GD ☹️😒.
