forget and drop Marcia, she doesn’t have that screentime or substantial pop up; less than a cameo. Make Posey get her Emmy up, she’s the best of the guest ladies. Definitely a firecracker, what cannot be said about Horgan in this case.

I am totally comfortable going all in on The Bear but am so much more uneasy doing so with Mr and Mrs Smith. Could really see a scenario where we’ve all gone all in because of the perceived lack of options but then the Emmys go the opposite way.

She would make sense normally, but then you’ve got 3 previous cast members (McKinnon, Rudolph and Wiig) who make more sense, as well as everyone from The Bear, and oscar winner Da’Vine, as well as Hacks who got 4 nominees last time in this category

I feel like if Slow Horses got Guests it would mean they were really watching the show. So it would be Freddie Fox instead of Jonathan Pryce anyway making predictions for the latter relatively nonsensical.

I think a lot of people are predicting it to overperform because of how lazy the actors were last year with The Last of Us, Succession and Ted Lasso but I feel like something no one really talks about is how they either got their established main cast members (Niles, Moayed, Richardson) or people who had traditional guest acting showcases (the Endure and Survive boys, Abbass, Jones, Reid etc). There were no nominations for Christine Hakim, incumbent nominee Hope Davis, BAFTA nominee Nico Parker or recurring cast member Gabriel Luna. The fact that Mr. and Mrs. Smith on its best day won’t be anywhere near as strong as those shows aside, none of its contenders really have that same advantage as the Succession, The Last of Us and Ted Lasso actors did aside from Coel, Paulson and Turturro. If it weren’t for how weak the fields are I don’t even know if I would be considering Horgan and Moura and if we only have 5 slots I will be dropping the former.
