The Racial Healing Handbook: Practical Activities to Help You Challenge Privilege, Confront Systemic Racism, and Engage in Collective Healing (The Social Justice Handbook Series)

Loved the workbook style of this book. It allowed for a lot of guided reflection. I also loved that it had prompts for “white” and “people of color”. This really allowed for some deep reflecting on how we experience race. We read this at work and had some awesome conversations from it. Some DEI training can feel very “anti-white” and that can really close off conversations, but this book touched on privilege in a really great way and truly opened conversations and opportunity for growth. I really liked the focus on racial healing being a journey and we are all at different places. I think that really allowed others to have that growth mindset and patience with others.
