1. Dress code

Take note of the following details from Radhika Merchant and Anant Ambani's wedding invitation: The Ambanis have organised three wedding events - Shubh Vivaah, Shubh Aashirwaad, and Mangal Utsav. The dress code for the first event, Shubh Vivaah, is traditional Indian attire that celebrates the rich culture of our country. For Shubh Aashirwaad, guests are requested to wear Indian formal attire and for the Mangal Utsav (reception), the dress code is Indian chic attire.

According to Mint, Hindustan Times and other reports, Mukesh and Nita Ambani have arranged for nearly 100 private jets, including 3 Falcon 2000 jets, to transport the guests coming in from various parts of the world to the wedding venue. The CEO of Air Charter company Club One Air, Rajan Mehra, in an interaction with Reuters, confirmed that the Ambanis have rented three of their Falcon 2000 private jets for the wedding. He also stated that he expects over 100 private planes to be used during the wedding festivities. "The guests are coming from all over and each aircraft will make multiple trips across the country," he said.

4. The venue

Radhika Merchant and Anant Ambani will get married at the Jio Convention Centre in Bandra Kurla Complex. The venue consists of three large halls that can accommodate around 16,500 guests, as well as two pillarless halls and a banquet space that can collectively host over 13,000 guests. The wedding will be followed by a 'Shubh Aashirwaad' ceremony on July 13, and a grand wedding reception, known as 'Mangal Utsav,' on July 15. Confirming Nita Ambani's visit, Rakesh Keshari, the owner of the fast food joint, told ANI, "Nita Ambani came to our chaat bhandaar on June 24, where she tasted tikki chaat, tomato chaat, palak chaat, and kulfi falooda. She was very happy and said that the chaat of Banaras is very famous. It was a pleasure to serve her." According to Mint, the Ambanis have hired Kaashi Chaat Bhandaar for the wedding, where they will be serving snacks like palak chaat, chana kachori, aloo tikki, tomato chaat, pani puri, bhalla papdi, samosa, gulab jamun, kachori and kulfi.

6. Budget

According to a Times of India report, the Ambanis have spent around £100 million (over Rs 1000 crore) on the three-day wedding in Mumbai. The entire budget of the wedding, including the pre-wedding extravaganza in Jamnagar and Italy, has crossed the Rs 5000 crore figure.
