Lindqvist is an industry leader who brings more than 30 years of experience in the business development of Internet Service Providers and worldwide network carriers, and deep experience in the ICANN community. ICANN opened a one-month nomination period for the Dr. Tarek Kamel Award for Capacity Building. First established in January 2020 in honor of the late Dr. Tarek Kamel, the award recognizes ICANN community members for significant efforts in developing aptitude in areas related to ICANN's mission.
