This year’s D23 was full of announcements, and one of the biggest showcased projects was a teaser trailer for ‘Daredevil: Born Again.’ The teaser trailer has revealed some interesting plot points and characters that we can expect in the upcoming first season. First, now it’s officially been confirmed that Muse will be one of the villains in the series. White Tiger will also make an appearance confirming the speculation that started with set leaks, and Bullseye will start the season in jail.
It appears that Matt Murdock and Kingpin will have some kind of an understanding but it will presumably fall through.
One thing that set footage also confirmed is the fact that Daredevil has a new suit in the upcoming show, but the latest leaked footage also shows that he might get one more addition to his wardrobe – a black suit.

We haven’t even seen the new “Daredevil: Born Again” show on Disney+ and we have reports from D23 that it has already been renewed for a second season.
Yesterday, a teaser was released at D23, but for some reason, Disney isn’t letting people share it. This seems counterintuitive to me.
People are still posting it on social media. Here is a link to one, If it is still up.

We see Charlie Cox as Daredevil/Matt Murdock, Vincent D’Onofrio as Kingpin/Wilson Fisk, Jon Bernthal as The Punisher/ Frank Castle, and Wilson Bethel as Bullseye/ Benjamin Poindexter.
It’s great to see so many cast members from the original Netflix “Daredevil” and Marvel shows returning for this one.
Even more good news. We now know that season...

The MCU’s Man Without Fear is finally back in the spotlight. After tantalizing teases of Daredevil in Spider-Man: Far From Home, She-Hulk, and Echo, Charlie Cox makes a full-time return for Daredevil: Born Again, the follow-up to the popular Netflix series that’s getting most of the old gang back together.
Ahead of the show’s debut in March 2025, Disney showed off the series’ first trailer exclusively to an audience attending this year’s D23. From new villains to familiar foes and one ‘punishing’ cameo, here’s what you missed in the Daredevil: Born Again trailer if you weren’t in attendance.
Kingpin’s Rise to Power
In Echo‘s finale, Vincent D’Onofrio’s Wilson Fisk hinted that he would run for mayor of New York City and that’s clearly put him back on Daredevil’s radar. Kingpin is also rumored to play a major role in a street-level Spider-Man 4,...

‘Daredevil: Born Again’ is one of the most talked-about upcoming MCU projects, partly due to the fan-fueled hype and partly due to its turbulent production that’s been plagued with everything from SAG-AFTRA strike to creative differences in what the showrunners wanted and what the studio wanted.
The first exclusive footage for the project that now officially falls under the MCU umbrella has been showcased on this year’s D23, and lucky for you someone leaked it online.

It's been a bit of a rocky ride for fans of the Man Without Fear, better known as the Marvel comics hero Daredevil. It all started with a rather disappointing big screen outing in 2003 with Ben Affleck playing everyone's favorite blind crime-fighting lawyer, then a rather spectacular Netflix series that ran for three seasons starting in 2015, starring Charlie Cox as Daredevil. Unfortunately, the Netflix Marvel shows came to an end and it looked like that might be the last any of us would get to see of the character, but then the MCU scooped him up and changed the character's whole on-screen trajectory. Cox's Daredevil had a brief appearance in "Spider-Man: No Way Home" and appeared in the Disney+ series "She-Hulk," preparing audiences to dive back into the seedier, darker side of Marvel before "Marvel's Echo," which set the stage for "Daredevil: Born Again."

Daredevil: Born Again is among the upcoming MCU projects we expect to be showcased at D23's "Disney Entertainment Showcase" this evening and new artwork for the Disney+ series is featured on the convention floor.
As you can see, it primarily features Daredevil and The Kingpin, presented as graffiti which we'd imagine, in the series itself, is meant to have been illustrated by the villainous Muse.
Something that's grabbed the attention of most fans, though, is the fact that the all-too-familiar "Dd" logo can be seen alongside the Man Without Fear. The Netflix series never gave the hero that iconic symbol on his chest and it hasn't been featured in any of the set photos from Daredevil: Born Again; however, it may be added digitally or put on the suit later in the series.
In related news, The Newton Brothers (X-Men '97) have confirmed that they're composing Daredevil: Born Again's score.

Estimating the wealth of fictional characters is both fascinating and challenging, as many figures are based on imprecise numbers and speculation. Fictional works rarely provide exact financial details, and when they do, the information is often incomplete and inconsistent. Moreover, financial data can vary widely between sources and change over time.
In this list, we’ll explore the 10 wealthiest characters from the Marvel Comics universe, revealing who tops the charts in terms of financial prowess within Marvel’s expansive roster.

Estimating the wealth of a fictional character is both interesting and very difficult to do, seeing how a lot of the estimates are based on imprecise numbers and speculation. Rarely do works of fiction present us with precise data, and even when they do, the data is only partial as it never encompasses all characters. On top of that, the data constantly changes, and different sources often list different data.

One of the most anticipated upcoming MCU projects is ‘Daredevil: Born Again.’ The show generated significant excitement when its early development was announced, but fans were quickly taken aback to learn that it wouldn’t continue the story from Netflix’s ‘Daredevil’ series. Instead, it was designed as a soft reboot.
Fans were further disappointed to discover that the show would include several episodes where Daredevil doesn’t don his suit at all. The series is set to focus on a legal drama angle, highlighting Daredevil’s life as he attempts to leave his vigilante past behind, similar to the character of Wilson Fisk, aka Kingpin.
The news that Karen and Foggy would not be returning to the series was a major disappointment for fans who cherished these characters for their crucial roles in Daredevil’s development.

The fact that Karen & Foggy weren’t meant to return to the series was also a devastating blow to the fans who have grown to love characters who were such an important part of Daredevil’s character growth.

Charlie Cox took the stage at GalaxyCon Raleigh this past weekend to share compelling new details about the highly anticipated Marvel series “Daredevil: Born Again.” As anticipation builds for the new Disney+ chapter, Cox provided insight into pivotal changes that expanded the show’s connections to its groundbreaking Netflix predecessor.
Originally, the plan was to distance the new series from its former identity on the streamer. A planned cameo for Elden Henson’s Foggy Nelson was intended to “end the link” between franchises, dismaying long-time “Devil” fans. However, Cox revealed the creative team opted to bring Henson and Deborah Ann Woll’s Karen Page back as leads instead. “It was pretty heartbreaking at first, but I’m thrilled they’re coming home,” Cox told the excited GalaxyCon crowd.

Ever since the first trailer for Captain America: Brave New World dropped, fans have all been asking themselves the same question. No, not "When do we get to see Harrison Ford's Red Hulk go smash?" (although very much that too), but instead: "Who is Giancarlo Esposito playing?" Having played the cold and calculating Gus Fring in Breaking Bad and the dastardly Moff Gideon in The Mandalorian, we always knew he'd be a baddie here. But now, thanks to Marvel's Hall H Captain America panel at Comic-Con, we know exactly which one.

Spider-man 4: Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige Reveals Whether Jon Watts Will Return As Director
![Image](https://cdn.statically.io/img/m.media-amazon.com/images/M/MV5BYzkzN2RjZjgtOTQyNy00ZjZkLTg5ZTctODRlMzViM2JmZjMyXkEyXkFqcGc@._V1_QL75_UX500_CR0,0,500,281_.jpg)
Jon Watts was only really known for directing Clown and Cop Car when Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures hired him to helm Spider-Man: Homecoming. Understandably, many fans had reservations about another "indie" director working on the franchise, particularly after Marc Webb had struggled with The Amazing Spider-Man franchise.
Fortunately, the filmmaker exceeded expectations and delivered three huge critical and commercial hits. After successfully getting Spider-Man: No Way Home across the finish line in 2021 (no easy feat given its scale and the pandemic), Watts was expected to begin work on Marvel Studios’ Fantastic Four reboot. Instead, he chose to leave the movie after devoting a good half a decade of his career to the MCU.
The fact Watts agreed to take charge of that movie seemed to suggest he never planned to return for Spider-Man 4, and several names have since been rumoured to be in the running for the coveted job.

More than 15 years into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, we've seen a sizable number of villains that have run the gamut from street-level bad guys like Kingpin to universe-threatening, god-like beings such as Thanos. Next up, we'll see "The Crown" star Emma Corrin put their stamp on the McU's roster of baddies as Cassandra Nova, a character who has quite a wild origin story in Marvel Comics history. So, where did Corrin turn for inspiration to craft their villain? "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory," of all places.
Corrin was recently the subject of a cover story for GQ. During the conversation, it was revealed that the actor took inspiration from a couple of cinematic classics. They referred to Gene Wilder's Willy Wonka as "one of the best villains of all time," right alongside Christoph Waltz in "Inglourious Basterds." Both influenced their take on Cassandra Nova. ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ is one of the most exciting upcoming projects in the MCU. The show was initially designed as a complete reboot of Netflix’s ‘Daredevil’ show which ran for three seasons, but after unsatisfactory first reactions to the material, the first version of the show was almost completely scrapped.
Now ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ is continuing in a new direction, it’s going to be more like a continuation of Netflix’s series with much of the cast returning. Foggy and Karen are also going to be present after being written out from the original version.
On a recent episode of The Official Marvel Podcast, Brad Winderbaum, Marvel Studios exec discussed ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ and its revival within Marvel Studios. He described the project as literally being “Born Again’ for the studio.

When Marvel Studios first announced Daredevil: Born Again, it was an 18-episode series. However, those plans seemingly changed even before the creative overhaul, with the revival split into two 9-episode seasons.
Given how many changes the show has been through (and how costly they likely were), there have been concerns among fans that Disney's streaming cutbacks could drastically shorten Daredevil: Born Again.
Well, according to scooper Daniel Richtman, the plan is for "season 2" to begin shooting this fall, with work continuing until mid-2025.
If this is correct, Marvel Studios must be confident in the show's chances of success as the current plan is for Daredevil: Born Again to premiere on Disney+ next March. However, we'd imagine this means there's a risk of major spoilers for season 1 doing the rounds once the cast is spotted back on set for season 2.
This news also raises some interesting questions about plans for Spider-Man...

The original Daredevil series aired on Netflix in 2015 and chronicled the narrative of Matt Murdock, played by Charlie Cox, as he tried to balance his life as a lawyer and as Daredevil. Despite its critical praise and great viewership, the show was discontinued in 2018 after three seasons.

The show was finally brought to Disney+ once Marvel regained control of the rights. This gave the MCU an excellent opportunity to develop Daredevil: Born Again.
However, for a variety of reasons, the original version of the show was scrapped and reworked. In a recent interview, Cox expressed his appreciation for the MCU, but it also raised one significant point.

Daredevil: Born Again has undergone a great many changes since first being announced. Roughly half of the 9-episode series had been shot, only for Marvel Studios to decide it wasn't working and that the creative team had taken the Man Without Fear in the wrong direction.
A massive creative overhaul followed; it reportedly involved enlisting new writers and directors, bringing back more Daredevil cast members, dropping at least a couple of actors from the cast, and making sweeping alterations to the story.
Now, we've learned that Daredevil: Born Again stars Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio also had some input in reshaping the series.
"Marvel had been incredibly open-minded and willing to correct course, and incredibly supportive," Cox told fans at Fan Expo Boston 2024 (via Popverse). “Early on, we were trying something that was a bit different, and very quickly they were able to identify that wasn’t maybe working as...

As far as we're aware, Marvel Studios still hasn't found a director for Spider-Man 4. It's looking increasingly unlikely that the movie will be released next year and, even with Kevin Feige heading to Hall H, an update in San Diego is doubtful because Sony Pictures controls the franchise.
There continue to be conflicting rumours about what we'll see in the movie, with Black Cat, Scorpion, Venom, and even The Kingpin all mentioned in recent months.
The Cosmic Circus' Alex Perez has chimed in with an update on the web-spinner's future, promising that "Spider-Man will be a very important character for these next few stories," including the upcoming Avengers movies.
The scooper later claimed that Tthe McU's Kingpin "hates [Spider-Man and Daredevil] equally" and confirmed Mayor Wilson Fisk has a physical presence in the movie. Remember, it's previously been reported that Spidey and the Man Without Fear will team up to battle the...

Back in April, the news broke that Daredevil: Born Again had wrapped filming. It felt like a bigger deal than usual because shooting had originally kicked off early last year, only to be paused when Marvel Studios decided to fire the creative team and overhaul a series which seemingly wasn't working.
Some original footage and ideas will make it into the new version, though we're unlikely to ever know what the previous iteration of this Daredevil follow-up looked like. However, based on what we've heard, Foggy Nelson, Karen Page, and Bullseye were absent, as was the Man Without Fear's costume for much of the 9-episode revival.
It feels like the show is now heading in the right direction, and while an official Daredevil: Born Again sneak peek is no doubt still months away, a crew gift has surfaced online which sees the Man Without Fear's shadow loom large over New York.

Spider-Man fans are notoriously hard to please, though the wall-crawler is arguably the world's most popular and iconic superhero. When it comes to Peter Parker's comic book adventures, one creative decision - made way back in 2007 - remains a real sticking point.
We are, of course, referring to the end of his and Mary Jane Watson-Parker's marriage during the controversial Amazing Spider-Man "One More Day" storyline.
To save his Aunt May, Peter was forced to do a deal with Mephisto; in exchange for his and Mj's marriage, she would be saved (and the world would forget his secret identity). Mj agreed and both she and Peter were shown a glimpse of the daughter that might have been had they refused the devil's offer.
While that also upset readers, the idea was to make Spider-Man more relatable by having him be young, free, and single. For the majority of fans, this...

21 years ago, 20th Century Fox released Daredevil, where Ben Affleck donned the red suit to face off against icons like Michael Clarke Duncan as the formidable Kingpin and Colin Farrell’s menacing Bullseye, with Jon Favreau delivering heart as the loyal Foggy. Despite a shaky reception from critics & a modest box office triumph of $179 million, which set the stage for Jennifer Garner’s subsequent solo venture Elektra, Daredevil remains a remarkable topic of discussion.

But did you know that in 2004, those bitter opinions began to turn with the release of a grittier, R-rated director’s cut? This version injected a new lease of life into the franchise, earning nods for its balanced narrative and garnering a more positive critical response, with a striking improvement acknowledged by fans and pundits alike. So much so that admirers are still raving about the 2003 film’s revised cut.

Twenty years ago, The Maker (the original Ultimate Universe's Mister Fantastic) prevented a radioactive spider from biting a young Peter Parker. He likewise prevented the creation of any other superheroes and formed a secret council to rule the world from the shadows.
Five months ago, Tony Stark sent Peter that same radioactive spider along with a "picotech" suit and warnings of The Maker's Council. Since then, Peter has used the spectacular powers granted by the spider's bite to fight crime alongside a masked vigilante called Green Goblin (Harry Osborn, co-c.E.O. of Oscorp).
They met fighting an assassin hired by Wilson Fisk, the Kingpin of New York and a subordinate of the Maker's Council. Fisk is also, as owner of The Daily Bugle, Peter's boss.
Fortunately, Peter has managed to keep his second life a secret from everyone...well, except his daughter, May.

Sony Pictures, following Disney, ranks as the second most active studio in Marvel content development. Prior to 2019, Disney, Fox, and Sony held the reins, but Disney’s acquisition of Fox altered the landscape. Despite Disney and Sony’s deal to integrate Spider-Man into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Sony retains rights to Marvel characters, aiming to forge its own cinematic universe centered on Spider-Man’s villains and anti-heroes.
However, Sony’s efforts to establish this universe largely faltered, marked by only a few successful projects. Most recently, both ‘Morbius’ and ‘Madame Web’ proved to be significant box-office disappointments.
However, recent reports indicate that Sony remains steadfast in its commitment to expanding its cinematic universe and exploring supporting characters from Spider-Man’s world, which could have significant implications for the MCU moving forward.

Sony Pictures is, after Disney, the second most prolific studio when it comes to developing Marvel content. Before 2019, there were Disney, Fox, and Sony, but then Disney purchased Fox, and although Disney and Sony made a deal that brought Spider-Man to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Sony still believes that they can use their rights for Marvel characters to build some cinematic universe featuring villains and anti-heroes associated with Spider-Man.

Vincent D'Onofrio first played the Kingpin of Crime, Wilson Fisk, in Netflix's Daredevil. Like the show itself, he stuck around for three seasons before the series ended and later made a surprise return in Marvel Studios' Hawkeye.
Weeks later, Charlie Cox showed up as Matt Murdock in Spider-Man: No Way Home before swinging into action as Daredevil in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law and Echo. Cox and D'Onofrio both appeared in the latter and Daredevil: Born Again is next to them.
In 2022, we learned that Cox will lend his voice to Daredevil in Marvel Animation's Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man. Unfortunately, D'Onofrio joining him in the series seems far from guaranteed.
"I'm going to transparently say this: You know the whole Marvel-Sony thing, right?" D'Onofrio told fans at the Fan Expo Boston 2024. "So there are characters - Marvel characters invented by Marvel, written by Marvel - that are caught in between Marvel and Sony.

Last week, a rumor from The Cosmic Circus suggested that Peter Parker will ultimately come up against two of his most iconic villains in the new Spider-Man trilogy that's said to be in the works from Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures, and we may now know how these characters will make their return.
Just in case this is accurate, here's your spoiler warning.
It's said that the plan is to have Spidey encounter the Green Goblin and Doctor Octopus again in the new movies, but that doesn't mean it'll be Norman Osborn and Otto Octavius! The site is now hinting that two other characters will assume these villainous mantles.
"I know many people are curious as to how exactly they will do Doc Ock and Green Goblin again when the time comes. I’d just like to let everyone know, the whole world was watching the final fight during No Way Home.

Taking over the mantle from Andrew Garfield, the Tom Holland version of Spider-Man took a majestic leap straight into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, kick-starting a new era of collaboration between Marvel and Sony. The entry of the teenage web-slinger, though, happened under the banner of Robert Downey Jr’s Iron Man during the split within the Avengers in Captain America: Civil War, with the character remaining in the shadows of his mentor for quite a long time.

Much has been said about Tom Holland’s 4th Spider-Man movie and about its contents, despite the fact that the studios by themselves have so far been utterly mum about it. Fans will know that 2021’s No from Home left the web-slinging hero at a disastrous turn, with most of his allies having forgotten his identity completely.

The tight-lippedness that both Sony and Marvel has employed with respect to Spider-Man 4 means that fans are still at a loss about what the movie might look like, let alone the characters who will be seen at the forefront. Spider-Man is quite a fortunate character when it comes to its adaptations. Be it the live-action film, the Spider-Verse series, or games, the character is not all too difficult to get wrong considering just how multifaceted he is. Tom Holland’s portrayal of the character takes on a similar tone, going from a skeptical choice on Marvel’s part to an iconic version of the character.

A major deviation from the mixed bag of box-office successes and failures that of the post-Avengers: Endgame movies, Marvel Studios in collaboration with Sony, pulled off one of the biggest cinematic experiences with Tom Holland’s Spider-Man: No Way Home. The 2021 flick not only revived the big screens after a pandemic slump, but also brought the three major live-action Spider-Man actors together on-screen, along with some of the most iconic villains from all of their movies.

Daredevil: Born Again went through a major creative overhaul to bring it more in line with the Netflix series. While significant changes have been made, the main story is expected to remain the same.
Based on what we've pieced together, Wilson Fisk becomes New York City Mayor and clamps down on vigilantes. Meanwhile, The Punisher is hunting down corrupt cops, the vigilante White Tiger is on trial, and a serial killer, Muse, is causing chaos in Hell's Kitchen.
The Cosmic Circus recently shared some MCU updates, including plans for the villain in the upcoming Disney+ TV series.
"What I’ve heard about Muse is that his character will fan the flames of chaos in the show," the site teases. "He’ll be very sinister and deranged and will actually be an antagonist to not only Daredevil but also Kingpin, which will be an interesting dynamic to see play out."

The new UItimate Universe was created when a diabolical genius known as The Maker created his ideal Earth by systematically preventing anyone from ever becoming a superhero. To rule his perfected reality, he placed supervillains in charge of different regions, and together, The Maker's Council orchestrated the history of the world.
When Tony Stark discovered its true history, the Maker's Council perpetrated a terrible attack on New York City in Stark's name.
As we see in the opening pages of today's Ultimate Spider-Man #5, two of the victims of the attack were Norman Osborn, C.E.O. of Oscorp, and his wife, Emily.
The issue then moves to the immediate aftermath of that, with Harry learning he's inherited his father's empire. He's summoned by Wilson Fisk, with the villain revealing he's been named the Shadow Governor of the greater New York territory and Manhattan's "Kingpin."
What remains of Stark's company could be a problem,...

When Marvel Studios teamed with Sony Pictures and agreed to share Spider-Man, the decision was quickly made to focus on villains the web-slinger hadn't faced on screen before.
Spider-Man: Homecoming featured Shocker and The Vulture and even set the stage for Scorpion's eventual debut by introducing Mac Gargan. Spider-Man: Far From Home shifted focus to Mysterio, only for Spider-Man: No Way Home to pit Tom Holland's Peter Parker against the baddies from previous Spider-Man movies.
The MCU hero battled Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, Electro, Sandman, and The Lizard; however, as exciting as that was for fans, it seemingly closed the door on new versions of those baddies appearing on Earth-616.
Heck, Willem Dafoe's Norman Osborn even confirmed his Variant doesn't exist on that world!

MCU has quite a slate of movies coming up, even though Marvel Studios has hit a rough patch with the last couple of projects. There have been talks about releasing fewer projects, as fans are definitely becoming tired of shows and movies of lower quality; still, if one character always managed to drag people to movies, it’s Spider-Man, by far the most profitable Marvel franchise, no matter the product you’re looking at.

The MCU has a bunch of movies on the way, even though Marvel Studios has faced some challenges with recent projects. There’s talk of cutting back on releases because fans are getting tired of lower-quality shows and movies. But when it comes to bringing in audiences, Spider-Man always delivers.
