A lot was riding on the first two episodes of Seal Team Season 7 after the Season 6 finale sent the show in an exciting direction.
As you’ll recall, Jason (David Boreanaz) went public with his Tbi while accepting an award, leaving his future up in the air.
Command was understandably blindsided by his actions and hauled him in to tell him that his career, as he knew it, was over.
In one of the most powerful TV scenes in recent memory, various Navy SEALs appeared to reveal their own ailments in a show of solidarity.
At the beginning of Seal Team Season 7 Episode 1, Bravo Team was still intact but not operating.
Simply put, the team members do what they usually do when back home, only over a longer time, because there’s no longer faith they’re a functional team.

When news broke that Seal Team would end with its seventh season, it wasn’t too much of a surprise.
The CBS-turned-Paramount+ drama has been slowly preparing for the end of its run over the last few seasons, with the character arcs slowly but surely reaching their final stages.
Paramount+ shared the first two episodes of Seal Team Season 7 with critics ahead of its launch, and it’s fair to say that these installments have a sense of finality.
Jason Hayes (David Boreanaz) has always been the heart and soul of Seal Team, even though the character has made countless questionable decisions over the years.
The first two episodes of the final installment find Jason reflecting on his career, thanks in large part to his decision to go against Command and reveal the truth about his Tbi.
Due to those actions, there were always going to be mass changes in the show,...

Amazon is doubling down on its Alex Cross series.
The tech giant’s Prime Video streaming platform has ordered a second season of Cross, a drama starring Aldis Hodge and based on James Patterson’s best-selling novel series about a detective and forensic psychologist who delves into the minds of killers in order to catch them. The renewal comes ahead of the show’s debut — a date for which hasn’t been set.
Additionally, Wes Chatham, Matthew Lillard and Jeanine Mason are set to join the cast for the second season. Ryan Eggold, Isaiah Mustafa, Alona Tal, Johnny Ray Gill, Eloise Mumford and Siobhan Murphy star with Hodge in season one.
Prime Video confirmed the renewal at its upfront presentation on May 14 and also released a teaser for the series (watch it below).
Cross landed a series order at Prime Video in October 2022 after more than two years in development.

More than 13 years ago, the world said goodbye to Adrian Monk (Tony Shalhoub) after eight seasons on the USA Network. Monk is a genius detective riddled with anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and dozens of phobias. And yet, these very qualities make him such an astute investigator — "It's a gift and a curse." Now, fans get one more sample of Monk's gift with a follow-up movie, "Mr. Monk's Last Case." The film is not a "legacy sequel" as is the trend these days, but a classical post-series TV reunion movie. It's not just the main cast that returns either, but "Monk" co-creators Andy Breckmann and David Hoberman and prolific series director Randy Zisk. The reunion feels complete because of it, since their presence means the storytelling of "Mr. Monk's Last Case" feels like, well, "Monk."

The murder of a loved one brings the crime-solving gang back together in the first trailer for Mr. Monk’s Last Case: A Monk Movie, Andy Breckman’s follow-up film to his blue sky show that wrapped its run on USA in 2009. When Adrian Monk’s stepdaughter Molly Evans needs his help finding her fiancé’s killer, he braves a world still very much in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, which, if you know anything about Monk, is about the most selfless thing he could do.

One of the USA Network's most beloved television series is "Monk," which aired from 2002 to 2009. A police procedural comedy owing a lot to Sherlock Holmes (but set in 2000s San Francisco), the show followed Adrian Monk (Tony Shalhoub). A detective with crippling obsessive-compulsive disorder (Ocd) and social anxiety, Monk was once a police officer but retired after the death of his wife Trudy. He semi-comes out of retirement years later as a private consultant and that's when the series begins. Thanks to his performance as Monk, Shalhoub won three Emmys for Outstanding Lead Actor In A Comedy Series, and the finale ("Mr. Monk and the End") broke cable ratings records.
In 2020, Shalhoub and his castmates starred in a mini-reunion for Peacock, "Monk In Quarantine." Monk, an infamous germaphobe, goes the extra mile with safety precautions during the Covid-19 pandemic while his friends check in on him over Zoom. Evidently,...

Tony Shalhoub credits the Covid-19 pandemic as the driving force for Peacock’s upcoming “Monk” movie sequel.
The actor is set to reprise his Emmy-winning role of obsessive-compulsive detective Adrian Monk in “Mr. Monk’s Last Case: A Monk Movie,” featuring a new mystery set in the present day.
“It’s been 14 years, I think, since we wrapped it and I just thought they came up with a good idea for it,” Shalhoub told TheWrap on the red carpet of PaleyFest’s “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” celebration. “I think the pandemic had a lot to do with it because everyone was wonder like ‘What would Monk be doing during and post-pandemic?’ So that’s kind of where we find the character when we open the movie.”

Thirteen years after the comedy-mystery series “Monk” ended its successful eight-season run on the USA Network, star Tony Shalhoub and many of his cast mates are set to reprise their roles in the Peacock original telefilm “Mr. Monk’s Last Case: A Monk Movie.” Shalhoub is also serving as co-executive producer on the new project along with former “Monk” team members Andy Breckman, David Hoberman, and Randy Zisk.
Shalhoub, who played fastidious sleuth Adrian Monk on the original show, will be rejoined by supporting players Ted Levine (Capt. Stottlemeyer), Jason Gray-Stanford (Lt. Disher), Traylor Howard (Natalie Teeger), Melora Hardin (Trudy Monk), and Héctor Elizondo (Dr. Bell). The new movie will also prominently feature a currently undisclosed actress in the role of Monk’s stepdaughter, Molly Evans, who was first portrayed by Alona Tal (“Little Fires Everywhere”) in the series finale.

Acclaimed mystery-comedy series "Monk," starring Tony Shalhoub as the world's most brilliant, yet neurotic, detective is getting a movie follow-up. "Mr. Monk's Last Case: A Monk Movie" will be distributed by Peacock.
The original "Monk" ran for eight seasons, between 2002 to 2009, on USA Network. A riff on Sherlock Holmes set in modern-day San Francisco, the lead character Adrian Monk (Tony Shalhoub) is a detective afflicted with obsessive-compulsive disorder. This makes him brilliant at his job — he catches details and remembers things no one else does — but also socially awkward. Monk retired from the San Francisco police after the murder of his beloved wife Trudy (Melora Hardin), the one case he never solved. The series follows him coming out of retirement as he tries to solve Trudy's murder — and handles plenty of other investigations along the way.
This movie is set to be a true reunion, too. Shalhoub will be returning...

Peacock loves a good TV series-revived-as-movie. USA Network favorite “Monk” is the newest legacy show to get that treatment, with a new movie sequel titled “Mr. Monk’s Last Case: A Monk Movie” ordered at the streamer.

Alex is a detective and forensic psychologist, uniquely capable of digging into the psyches of killers and their victims, in order to identify — and ultimately capture — the murderers. He is brilliant, flawed, and full of contradictions. A doting father and family man, Cross is single-minded to...

Mel McKeon and Laura Myones Ruf have been working side by side so long that it’s common they finish each other’s sentences. That comes in helpful, especially now, as the veteran talent managers have a lot to talk about.
It’s been a year since the two, who started working together in 1997 with Myones starting as McKeon’s assistant, rebranded their McKeon/Myones Entertainment to Afa Prime Talent, a transition that has signaled a new era for their management-production company.
Together, they have maintained a client roster of busy actors including Yvonne Strahovski (The Handmaid’s Tale), Sarah Shahi (Black Adam, Sex/Life), Alona Tal (Cross), Shioli Kutsuna (Deadpool 2, Invasion), Vivian Wu (Afterparty, Irma Vep), Michael Trucco (Average Joe), Thomas Barbusca (The Mick, Chad), Sean Patrick Thomas (Till, For All Mankind and The Boys spinoff Gen V), Missi Pyle (Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story, Y: The Last Man), Elaine Hendrix...

Exclusive: Sharon Taylor (Fire Country) has joined the cast of the Amazon Original series Cross, which stars Aldis Hodge in the role of Alex Cross.
Taylor will portray Lt. Oracene Massey and replaces the originally cast Karen LeBlanc, who exited due to scheduling conflicts, Deadline hears.
Lt. Massey is Alex’s immediate superior at the Metro Pd. She is a tireless self-promoter who understands that advancement doesn’t always have anything to do with catching the bad guys, but with pleasing those higher up. In the series, she is pregnant.
From Paramount Television Studios and Skydance Television, Cross is described as a complex and twisted thriller created by producer and writer Ben Watkins and based on the best-selling Alex Cross book series by James Patterson.

Paramount+’s Seal Team season six episode 10 finds the team mourning the loss of one of their own. Fans are still reeling from the events of episode nine which found Clay Spenser passing away – and Max Thieriot exiting the series. Given that Thieriot’s the lead in Fire Country, Clay’s death was shocking yet not unexpected.

“For a long time, I really weighed maybe he and Stella (Alona Tal) and Brian do move out to California and live that life that they talk about in this episode. [Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for Seal Team Season 6 Episode 6 “Watch Your Six.”] Bravo has a very different mission, but one of their most important, personal ones yet, in Seal Team’s 100th episode. The military drama rightfully focuses on what makes it so good: the relationships within the team, even if one of the brothers isn’t on Bravo at the moment. Upon returning home from Syria, Jason (David Boreanaz) may at first be focused on trying to find a reason to spin up again and also spend time personal time with Mandy (Jessica Paré), but that changes once he hears about what’s going on with Clay (Max Thieriot). Sonny’s (A.J. Buckley) the one to find him sleeping in his bed after Clay walked out on Stella (Alona Tal) and suggest a boys trip hunting to make up for lost time with his battle boo. Then Jason learns that Clay was told to take time ...
