Mary Ridge started her career in television working on "Theatre 625" from 1964 to 1967. After this film, Stratiev wrote the script "Velour's jacket", but the socialist authorities did not permit making the film. Bulgarian cinema had lost one brilliant absurdity's author, but Bulgarian theatre got the best author of absurdity comedies in 70, 80 and 90. Stanislav Stratiev wrote the plays "Roman bath", "Velour's jacket", and many others. He is a screenwriter of the films "Short Sun" (1979), "A Nameless Band" (1982), "Balance" (1983). Lyudmil Kirkov directed all these films.
