Pennywise the Clown is arguably horror author Stephen King’s most famous creation. During an interview, he discussed the impact his novel It will have on popular culture after his death. His take on the situation seems a little myopic. The Carrie author doesn’t take his cinematic legacy into account as much as he should.
Stephen King said Pennywise the Clown will be around forever
During a 2022 interview with Bloody Disgusting, King revealed that he viewed Pennywise as his sturdiest creation. “I think that when I die I will kind of disappear from the paperback racks,” he opined. “But that f****** clown is going to live forever. That’s one thing I’ve got going for me.”
While King has written several sequels over the years, he won’t write a sequel to It. “Well, I don’t have a relationship to Pennywise now,” King said. “Because I have...

In the dystopian future, a group of youths partake in a wildly popular, and very deadly, competition that's become a major source of entertainment. Sounds like "The Hunger Games," right? Well, that's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about "The Long Walk," Stephen King's nasty 1979 novel published under the pseudonym Richard Bachman. Now, I'm not saying "The Hunger Games" is a rip-off of "The Long Walk," but there are definitely major similarities — which is probably why Francis Lawrence, the helmer of several "Hunger Games" movies, has been hired to bring "The Long Walk" to the screen.
Lawrence is by no means the first filmmaker attached to this project. At one point, the legendary George A. Romero wanted to turn "The Long Walk" into a movie. Later, Frank Darabont, who directed the Stephen King movies "The Shawshank Redemption," "The Green Mile," and "The Mist," was attached to helm. Eventually, like Romero,...

Sandy Cheeks takes center stage in Netflix’s new installment in the “SpongeBob SquarePants” universe, “Saving Bikini Bottom: The Sandy Cheeks Movie.” When the beloved residents of Bikini Bottom get snatched up and hauled off to Texas, Sandy and SpongeBob head out on an adventure to save the whole neighborhood.
Of course, the cast is full of familiar “SpongeBob SquarePants” voices, but the adventure also spends some time on the road with Sandy’s family and introduces some new — yet also familiar — names to the cast. So if you’re wondering who’s who in the new “SpongeBob” movie, here’s a handy guide to the “Sandy Cheeks Movie” cast and characters.

Kevin Costner has become a household name in Hollywood. He has been an important part of the film industry for decades, starring in some of the most critically acclaimed projects of all time. On top of being an icon, he has also managed to hold onto immense success, having been a part of beloved series like Yellowstone, and his recent film, Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 1.

Costner has had this experience two times in his career. While there is one film that he does not regret letting go of, there is one that has taken on the role of his biggest mistake.

In the 1990s, Hollywood found both success and failure by digging deep into the back catalog of horror master Stephen King. The decade saw some of the best adaptations of his work and some of the worst (we don't need to talk about "The Lawnmower Man"), but its high and low points alike notably drew from lesser-known King works, as many of his major hits were already adapted in the decades prior. "Thinner" falls into this category: Released in 1984, the novel that inspired the movie was well-regarded upon release, but is mostly known now as the book that helped readers identify King as the writer behind pseudonym Richard Bachman.
Plenty of King fans love "Thinner," but the novel about an overweight man who is cursed to lose weight rapidly to the point of emaciation isn't exactly as high profile as the novelist's more zeitgeist-defining works. The Tom Holland-directed film...

Filming is underway on The Long Walk, directed by Francis Lawrence, and the names of several cast members have been revealed. An adaptation of the Stephen King novel The Long Walk (which was published under the pen name Richard Bachman) has been in development hell for decades. Initially, the rights belonged to Frank Darabont, who made other Stephen King adaptations like The Shawshank Redemption and The Green Mile. The rights then moved to New Line Cinema, with André Øvredal, director of Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, attached at one point. Francis Lawrence, known for directing I Am Legend...

Yesterday, we learned that production has begun on an adaptation of the Stephen King novel The Long Walk (which was, like The Running Man and Thinner, published under the pen name Richard Bachman), with director Francis Lawrence, whose previous credits include Constantine, I Am Legend, Water for Elephants, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Parts 1 and 2, Red Sparrow, Slumberland, and The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, at the helm. Now Deadline has broken the news that the cast of the film includes Star Wars legend Mark Hamill, who just recently finished working on another King adaptation called The Life of Chuck, and Judy Greer of the Halloween and Ant-Man franchises. Details on the characters they’ll be playing have not been revealed. Having read the source material, The Major and the mom of the lead character are the first possibilities that come to my mind.

An adaptation of the Stephen King novel The Long Walk has been trudging through development hell for decades. At one point, the rights were in the hands of Frank Darabont, who made the King adaptations The Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile, and The Mist. Then the rights passed over to New Line Cinema, where Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark director André Øvredal was hired to direct the film from a screenplay by James Vanderbilt, whose credits include the two most recent Scream movies. While doing the press rounds for his film The Last Voyage of the Demeter last year, Øvredal revealed that he was no longer involved with The Long Walk, and said not making that movie is one of the big regrets of his life. Last November, Francis Lawrence, whose previous credits include Constantine, I Am Legend, Water for Elephants, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, The Hunger...

When it comes to diversity in filmmaking, Steven Spielberg tops the list. Over many decades of being one of Hollywood’s greatest directors, Spielberg has shown that he can never be boxed into one specific genre by becoming the master in everything. From action thrillers to intense dramas to historical biopics, he has proved that nothing is beyond his reach.

One of his most acclaimed films was the intense World War 2 drama Saving Private Ryan. The Oscar winner’s depiction of the horrors brought on by the war was deeply felt by every audience member across the globe. Interestingly, a pivotal and terrifying scene that amplified the suffering and sacrifice of the soldiers, was actually orchestrated by writer and director Frank Darabont.

There's an expression that gets tossed around the entertainment industry that says "Every movie is a miracle." It's a way to express that even with corporate backing, massive budgets, celebrity casting, and a stellar crew, moviemaking is so difficult that it's a miracle that a movie ever comes to fruition. This goes double if not triple for those working outside of the studio system. YouTube film enthusiast-turned-filmmaker Chris Stuckmann is one of those miracle stories, a guy from Ohio who managed to translate making videos about movies in his bedroom to directing the most-funded horror film in Kickstarter history and nabbing a distribution deal from Neon in the process.
"Shelby Oaks" is Stuckmann's directorial feature debut, a film he's been developing for the better part of a decade. The story is centered on a woman named Mia (Camille Sullivan), the sister of paranormal investigator Riley (Sarah Durn) who has been missing for 12 years.

If shows like Oceans 11 or Leverage got you hooked on the perfect plan coming together through unconventional teamwork and heart, this series is for you. While paying homage to genre standouts, The Green Glove Gang puts its own spin on the “person with a past turns skills into a new purpose” trope.
Where many heist stories center on cocky criminals focusing solely on the take, this series humanizes its thieves. We learn their motivations through flashbacks revealing life experiences, not brags. Like Andy in The Shawshank Redemption gaining perspective through ordeals, time has given these women wisdom surpassing skill.
Season 2 sees their reluctant return sparked by loved ones in trouble, a callback to Sneakers exploring how family pulls outsiders back to dangerous lives. Yet intimacy, not payday, drives their planning. Scene choreography highlights discussion, not dangerous bravado, harkening to Leverage’s family dynamic over adrenaline.
Details will make aficionados smile.

On Saturday July 13, 2024, 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks borrowed his father's Ar-15 style rifle and parked himself atop a building near the Butler Farm Show Grounds in Butler, Pennsylvania, from which he fired eight bullets in the direction of former President Donald J. Trump. This being 2024, we can reasonably conclude from the myriad of cameras present — television, phone, and whatnot — that this happened. We also know for a fact that Trump's ear was bloodied by something, that three other people were struck by Crooks' bullets, and that one of these bullets killed 50-year-old Corey Comparatore. Finally, it is an incontrovertible fact that Thomas Matthew Crooks is dead.
Why Crooks did this is still under investigation, though it does appear he acted alone. How he evaded Secret Service to claim such an advantageous perch has prompted furious finger pointing within the long-embattled agency. What, if anything, this means for the upcoming presidential...

Sadie Sink, who plays Max, also shares her thoughts. While strolling through the wardrobe department, she mentions, ‘We’re just kind of savoring every single moment.’
The reveal video also introduces new cast members who will join in undisclosed roles, including Jake Connelly, Nell Fisher, and Alex Breaux. Their involvement is hinted at in various snippets,...

Forget the rivalry rumors, y’all! Star Wars legend James Earl Jones shuts down competition rumors with Morgan Freeman. Respecting Freeman’s talent, Jones insists their styles are pretty distinct. The Star Wars voice actor’s own deep, iconic tone—the one that brought Darth Vader to life—is simply one-of-a-kind, and Freeman is no less.

Last year was obviously fruitful for intricate thrillers that artfully played with people’s fear of the unknown. These include Sandra Hüller’s Anatomy of a Fall, Michael Fassbender’s The Killer and, of course, Barry Keoghan and Jacob Elordi’s Saltburn.
However, we bet you’ve clearly missed a suspenseful movie gem that didn’t make that much noise but is still worth a watch. It’s great that this thriller is getting more viewership these days, as it’s now holding the 4th place in HBO’s chart, so let’s take a closer look at it.
Set in the 1960s, this movie follows Eileen, a young woman who works as a secretary at the local youth prison. Her life turns upside down when she meets the new counselor who arrives at the facility and attracts the attention of all by her glamorous appearance.

One of the very best Stephen King films isn't a horror movie — it's the coming-of-age drama "Stand By Me." Released in 1986 and helmed by Rob Reiner, the film actually went out of its way to not slap King's name all over the marketing material. "We actually played down King's name because we didn't want people to have the idea that this was a bloody, gory horror movie," Reiner said (via the book "Creepshows: The Illustrated Stephen King Movie Guide" by Stephen Jones). But while "Stand By Me" may not have been sold as a Stephen King movie, it was very much a personal story for King. So personal, in fact, that when he saw the finished film, he was overcome with emotion and had to be alone for a few minutes to gather his thoughts.
"Stand By Me" is based on King's novella "The Body," which appeared in King's 1982 collection "Different Seasons.

A glimpse at upcoming UK Steelbook release dates until early 2024: here’s what’s getting the fancy treatment and when.
The incredibly fancy Steelbook format is the only choice for those needing a physical media release that doubles as a table tennis bat in a pinch. If that’s you, this list of all the upcoming UK Steelbook releases will be right up your alley.
Releases in this list cover Blu-ray and 4K, and are marked as such. Note that some Steelbooks sell out quickly, so just because they’re listed as upcoming here, there’s no guarantee of availability. Some store exclusives are also harder to track.

To say that Stephen King has had an impressive career would be an insulting understatement. One of the most prolific authors ever, he has published nearly 70 novels and dozens upon dozens of short stories, many of which have been adapted for the screen over the years. But it turns out that even in the golden age of King adaptations spurred by the insane success of "It" in 2017, the author's favorite book hasn't yet been turned into a movie.
In a 2014 interview with Rolling Stone, King name-checked "Lisey's Story" as the best book of his storied career. That's no small thing. As for why? Here's what he had to say about it at the time:
"Lisey's Story. That one felt like an important book to me because it was about marriage, and I'd never written about that. I wanted to talk about two things: One is the secret world that people build inside a marriage,...

Tom Hanks is an affecting lead but the popularity of Robert Zemeckis’s much-loved Oscar-winner is still a curious mystery
In the 30 years since becoming a box-office phenomenon, en route to winning six Oscars, including best picture, director, actor and adapted screenplay, Forrest Gump has settled into the culture as a significant achievement, canonized by its induction into the Library of Congress’ National Film Registry – and, to a slightly lesser extent, by the few dozen Bubba Gump Shrimp Company restaurants worldwide. Other best picture nominees may be more beloved, like The Shawshank Redemption, or influential, like Pulp Fiction, but none that captured the public imagination on quite the same scale.
And yet it’s still worth asking, after all this time: What is the deal with this movie? What is it actually trying to say?...

The always entertaining Alejandro Brugués (Juan of the Dead, Nightmare Cinema, Pooka Lives!) is back with The Inheritance, and a new clip introduces some of the Abernathy family that’s reuniting just in time for the horror.
Originally titled The Last Will and Testament of Charles Abernathy, Vertical will release The Inheritance in select theaters and on demand July 12, and Bloody Disgusting is debuting the official trailer today. The trailer starts out conventionally enough, with an old billionaire inviting his children to his estate to let them know he doesn’t have much more time left to live.
The horror twist? Something is coming for him at midnight…

Academy Award-winning actor Morgan Freeman has become the latest Hollywood star to speak out against the unauthorized use of artificial intelligence (AI) to replicate his distinctive voice. The 87-year-old actor, known for his roles in films such as “The Shawshank Redemption” and Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy, took to social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to address the issue.
Freeman’s statement came in response to a viral TikTok video that used AI to mimic his voice, falsely presenting the creator as the actor’s niece. The video, posted by user @justinescameraroll, began with an AI-generated voiceover stating, “Welcome to my niece’s day in the life, narrated by me, Morgan Freeman.” While initially garnering around 30,000 views on TikTok, the video exploded in popularity after being shared on X, where it amassed an additional 16 million views.

Who says 1994 was a classic year for cinema? Netflix begins today to make that argument, curating a release of 17 films that turned 30 this year. The streamer has its list below. I have mine, and with the exception of the seminal Farrelly Brothers-directed Dumb & Dumber with Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels, and Luc Besson’s Leon: The Professional, the film that stars Jean Reno and a sinister Gary Oldman and introduced the world to the outsized talent Natalie Portman, and maybe Ron Howard’s The Paper, there’s a lot missing. How about Forrest Gump, The Shawshank Redemption, Pulp Fiction, The Lion King, Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Clear and Present Danger, Sicario, Four Weddings and a Funeral, Interview With the Vampire, Speed, Ed Wood, and the other two films in a starmaking year for Jim Carrey, Ace Ventura: Pet Detective and The Mask. Speed, Once Were Warriors, and Ang Lee...

Morgan Freeman shared a note giving thanks to his fans Friday morning, expressing gratitude for users’ efforts calling out unauthorized AI imitations of the actor’s recognizable voice.
The celebrated 87-year-old actor has become legend for his narration in films such as “March of the Penguins,” “The Shawshank Redemption” and “Million Dollar Baby.” The sterling reputation of Freeman’s voice has made him a particularly popular target of AI-generated voice imitations, including in a recent viral series of TikToks created by a woman posing as the actor’s “nepo niece.” Freeman is not a fan of the practice.
“Thank you to my incredible fans for your vigilance and support in calling out the unauthorized use of an A.I. voice imitating me,” the actor wrote. “Your dedication helps authenticity and integrity remain paramount. Grateful. #AI #scam #imitation #IdentityProtection”

In April, actor Miki Yamashita says she received a health diagnosis that requires surgery to remove non-cancerous tumors. That’s when the performer, who has appeared on Cobra Kai and voiced a character on The Lion Guard, began the race to attempt to qualify for her union’s health insurance plan by June 30. If she earned enough on eligible projects or worked a sufficient number of days by that time, she could be covered by the plan at the end of the year, when she says she needs to undergo the medical procedure.
But meeting the plan’s requirements was going to be tougher than usual to accomplish. For nearly four months of her qualifying period, her union, SAG-AFTRA, was on strike against film and television companies, and Yamashita was barred by union rules from working on many projects. In the months following, production didn’t fully rebound in the...

There is no doubt that Stephen King has brought the cinema industry billions of dollars with many of his novels being adapted into movies and TV shows. A great number of them also receive massive critical and the audience’s praise and become cultish.
We bet you have seen The Shining (1980), The Shawshank Redemption (1994) or Green Mile (1999). However, there are some critically panned movie versions of Stephen King’s novels, with one of them now climbing Prime Video’s global top all of a sudden.
The plot of the 2022 horror revolves around Andy and Vicky, a couple who developed supernatural abilities as a result of the secret government drug trial they took part in as college students. It also led to their daughter Charlie having pyrokinesis.
It obviously doesn’t seem like a typical kid’s trait, and that’s why their family draws the attention of a scientific agency...

Hollywood veteran Tom Hanks has mostly laid out masterpieces for viewers to enjoy, with pretty much every single one of his acting gigs holding a depth that perhaps no other actor could capture with such intensity. However, he has been a part of some of the most epic failures as well, like the critically panned comedy-drama from 1990, The Bonfire of the Vanities.

Despite holding a bunch of A-listers in prominent roles including Morgan Freeman and Bruce Willis, for one to count, the movie was a terribly forgettable disaster nonetheless. But even as Hanks himself admitted that the film was “one of the crappiest movies ever made,” he seems to consider it a blessing at the same time because of the experience that film ended up lending him.

The always entertaining Alejandro Brugués is back with The Inheritance, a brand new horror movie from Vertical.

Ranker is a popular place on the Internet where people can rank whatever they want, however, they want, and whenever they want. This is always a fan-focused ranking system, and it is never officially tied to the people behind the projects in question. Recently, a large survey was organized on Ranker, whose goal was to determine the best actors of all time. The list includes more than 500 names, but in our report, we have decided to list the top ten actors from the site to provide you with better insight, combined with our original comments and opinions, which will add flavor to the whole report.
Of course, since this is indeed an important list, we have decided to report on it, so we are going to bring you the results by listing the top 10 actors on this list, from 10th to first place. We hope you’ll enjoy it!

We can’t get enough of John Mulaney these days.
After winning his third Emmy last year for writing his Netflix stand-up special “Baby J,” where he spoke candidly (and hilariously) about his stint in rehab for addiction, the former “Saturday Night Live” writer has risen from the ashes like a comically witty Phoenix.
In the Emmy race once again this year in multiple categories, most notably for guest comedy actor for his performance in the brilliant episode “Fishes” from FX’s second season of “The Bear” and outstanding talk series for the Netflix live smash “Everybody’s in L.A.”
On this episode of the award-winning Variety Awards Circuit Podcast, Mulaney discusses his experience and perspectives on Los Angeles’ identity, his creative processes, and whether he’ll host the Oscars. Listen below!

Mike Flanagan is a fan of monologues. From his films (like “Doctor Sleep” and “Gerald’s Game”) to his TV series (including “The Haunting of Hill House” and “Midnight Mass”), many a Flanagan character has embarked on a long speech — often uncut but always meticulously edited.
But when he was in talks to direct the next iteration of “The Exorcist” franchise, the executives in charge were “concerned” about the film getting too talky.
“Part of what I said to Blumhouse and Universal when we were discussing this was I don’t think this is a monologue project,” Flanagan said while speaking on a panel at the Atx TV Festival. “The ritual itself is something of a monologue, but we’ve seen that. We’ve seen somebody shout prayers at somebody. That was scary 50 years ago, I don’t see that working here.”
Still, given Flanagan’s history, he said he understood why they would be concerned.

Exclusive: Netflix has given the green light to what it calls the “next iteration” of its Emmy-contending documentary series Life on Our Planet, with Morgan Freeman set to return as narrator and Steven Spielberg as executive producer.
The as-yet-untitled show from Silverback Films and Amblin Documentaries will “tell the story of the rise and fall of the dinosaurs – where they came from, why they mattered, how they evolved and how they met their ultimate fate.”
Season 1 of Life on Our Planet examined not only the dinosaurs, but the rise of invertebrates, mammals, plants, and other life forms across billions of years of evolution up until the present. Industrial Light & Magic (Ilm) returns to craft the visual effects and animation; Grammy Award-winner Lorne Balfe is back as composer.

Morgan Freeman once quoted the nautical saying “long foretold, long last; short notice, soon past” to describe his acting career. He meant that it took him along time to achieve success in the acting profession but he hoped his long struggle would mean his career would last and not prove to be just a flash in the pan. His career has lasted and Freeman has had a nearly 30-year film career in major movies.
Freeman’s career started on the New York stage in the musical theater when he took over the role of Rudy the Maître d’ of the restaurant where the famous title number is performed. He was part of the groundbreaking moment when Pearl Bailey led an all-black cast into the production which had been running for years with white performers.
In the 1970s Freeman appeared for seven years and 680 episodes of the children’s television series “The Electric Company.

When Andy Dufresne crawled to freedom through “five hundred yards of shit-smelling foulness” in The Shawshank Redemption, it was the ultimate act of hope. As the story’s tagline has it, “Fear can hold you prisoner. Hope can set you free.”
As the movie turns 30, one small Midwestern town is throwing a celebration this summer — call it a big thank-you. Because filming took place over the summer of 1993 at the Ohio State Reformatory in Mansfield (population 47,000), a onetime manufacturing boomtown in north central Ohio, fans continue to flock from all over the world, eager to tour the former prison, which opened in 2019 as a museum.
Like the town, and like Andy, the movie itself went through a rough patch. Upon release in 1994, Shawshank was initially a box office flop. Seven Academy Award nominations, including best picture and best adapted screenplay, gave it a seal of approval. But then, steadily, by word-of-mouth,...

The name of a film is a pivotal part of its promotional jigsaw – but coming up with the perfect movie title is a lot easier said than done.
For a little while during the development of the 2023 it’s sort of based on a true story but have a word action horror comedy Cocaine Bear, there was a conversation being had about whether the name would actually stick. A great holding title, sure: but would a major Hollywood studio, Universal in this case, release a film with such a moniker?
The film thus went into development with the underlying expectation it might be called something else, yet when Elizabeth Banks came aboard to direct the picture, one of her conditions was that it didn’t change. As such, Cocaine Bear became, well, Cocaine Bear, and it’s hard to think of it now being called anything else.

Morgan Freeman’s presence in movies usually attracts audience, but even his charisma and soothing voice could not save his 1998 action thriller film, Hard Rain. Directed by cinematographer-turned-director Mikael Salomon, the movie emerged as the biggest flop of that year.

Morgan Freeman revealed the most frustrating moment of his career and it also happened to be his career’s biggest regret. Freeman’s career took off with his Oscar-winning film Driving Miss Daisy. Before the role happened, Freeman wanted to play one particular character in a book-based movie and approached Miloš Forman, the director, to convince him to cast him.

The Star Wars franchise is one of the highest-grossing franchises of all time and has spawned multiple films, shows, animated series, and comic books. The Galaxies created by George Lucas changed pop culture as well as blockbuster filmmaking since the first film was released in 1977. The film earned $775 million against a budget of $11 million.
While Lucas directed the first film in the original trilogy, he wanted to take more of a creative producer role in subsequent films of the original trilogy. The Empire Strikes Back was helmed by Irvin Kershner while Return of the Jedi was directed by Richard Marquand. However, Lucas reportedly first had David Lynch in mind for the latter.

The Shawshank Redemption director Frank Darabont was once approached to write a Star Wars film for George Lucas. The Star Wars director was not the best at writing dialogue and tried seeking outside help for the same. However, Darabont couldn’t go through with the negotiations to write Lucas’ Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace. The Green Mile director explained that he couldn’t affiliate himself with the project since it was a non-guild job.

Stephen King's books that have not yet been adapted fall into three groups: "no one tried to adapt it," "someone tried but couldn't adapt it," and "someone is trying to adapt it right now."
The Long Walk is just one of those books, and it belongs to both the second and third categories. Stephen King himself considers it to be one of his best novels. The author created it as a student, but could not publish it for a long time.
What is The Long Walk About?
The characters in The Long Walk live in an alternative future America. Once upon a time there was a global catastrophe, but the author deliberately hides the details from us. It is now a police state ruled by a dictator known as the Major.
On his initiative, a survival game is held every year – 100 young men, accompanied by military personnel, set out on a certain route.

Local blockbuster, “The Roundup: Punishment” extended its dominance of the South Korea theatrical box office for a fourth weekend. That lifted its cumulative total to a powerful $75 million.
“Punishment,” the fourth part of a brutal action comedy film franchise produced by and starring Don Lee (aka Ma Dong-seok), earned $3.05 million between Friday and Sunday, according to data from Kobis, the tracking service operated by the Korean Film Council (Kofic). While the film’s week-on-week performance was a 46% decrease, “Punishment” still enjoyed a 36% share of the Korean theatrical market.
After nearly four weeks on release, it has accumulated a total of $75.2 million from 10.7 million admissions. The year’s biggest title to date remains “Exhuma” with $84.8 million earned from 11.9 million ticket sales.
Those two films have dominated proceedings at the Korean box office this year and helped Korea stage a belated recovery in theatrical trends. Both March and April were recent records.

Kevin Costner’s abrupt exit from Yellowstone brought up his issues with creator Taylor Sheridan. His divorce from Christine Baumgartner also figured into the whole Yellowstone debacle. A similar conflict happened in Costner’s career almost three decades before his ongoing issue. At that time, Costner entered into a heated battle with the director of Waterworld and his close friend, Kevin Reynolds.

Tom Cruise is an iconic actor who probably needs no introduction. Starring in several movies like Top Gun, Mission: Impossible, and The Mummy, Cruise is a daredevil who has a knack for doing stunts by himself.
