- A fully clothed woman kisses a scarecrow and grinds on it for a while and moans.
- An old Stag film is seen, which is a primitive pornographic black and white short from early 20th century. Some female full frontal nudity and male buttocks visible, with lots of caressing and molestation but no penetration.
Violence & Gore

- A woman kills a goose with a pitchfork offscreen. She's seen carrying its bloody corpse on the pitchfork to feed to an alligator.
- A woman imagines her husband, who's in the war, exploding in a gory fashion. She is then seen popping an egg in her hand, letting it ooze in a mess.
- A woman stabs a man sitting in the car in the chest with a pitchfork twice. He falls and is stabbed through the mouth, killing him.
- A woman suffocates her handicapped father offscreen, but you hear the struggle.
- A woman chases another woman with an axe, striking her from behind three separate times. The camera cuts away as she brings it down for the killing blow. Not long after, she is seen hacking the body into pieces and feeding them to an alligator. You see the woman's bloody, severed head for a few seconds.
- Two women argue, eventually leading to the two slapping each other before one of them gets pushed against a fireplace and almost burns to death. She's seen later with half her face badly burnt and bloody.

- A woman drinks her father's cold medicine - liquid morphine.
Frightening & Intense Scenes

- A woman comes close to tossing her handicapped father to an alligator in a pond, but is interrupted and fails.
- At the beginning of the end credits, a closeup of a woman's face is seen while she forces herself to smile while struggling not to breakdown crying, and it goes on for couple of minutes, and it appears creepy and somewhat disturbing.
- Pearl's mental decline throughout the movie can be quite disturbing and unsettling to viewers.
