Michael Nordine is the Los Angeles–based Weekend Editor of IndieWire. He previously served as Film Copy-Editor at LA Weekly, where he was also a freelance film critic; he has had bylines in the Village Voice, VICE, the Wrap, the Los Angeles Times, and the Washington Post as well. A member of the Los Angeles Film Critics Association, he holds a B.A. in Literature and Philosophy from Bennington College and an M.A. in Film Studies from Chapman University.
