Summers, who hosted the Nickelodeon game show "Double Dare" from 1986 to 1993, said he walked out of the ID docuseries taping after it was revealed to be a spotlight on abuse at the network.

Docuseries "Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV" is a glaring spotlight on abuse; the success of former child actors such as Ryan Gosling, Austin Butler, and Zendaya can ensure it stays there.

The true crime series from Investigation Discovery includes several disturbing clips demonstrative of what’s been called the MeToo movement for kids. That’s been problematic on social media, but it may be the best justice available in Hollywood.
