Indiana Fever win 10th game of WNBA season with 95-86 win over Phoenix Mercury

The Indiana Fever (9-14) are back at Gainbridge Fieldhouse for their final home game before the Olympic break.

Today, the Fever face off against the Phoenix Mercury (12-10), which features three Olympians (Kahleah Cooper, Brittney Griner and Diana Taurasi).

Final: Fever stop Mercury from achieving a comeback

Kelsey Mitchell nailed a 3-pointer at 1:33 to extend Indiana's lead to 92-83. Kahleah Copper made an impressive shot for Phoenix and was fouled on the play. She made the free throw to cut the lead to 94-86. The Fever didn't give up much from there, though.

Indiana ended up holding on for a nine-point win. They led by 31 at one point but avoided the upset. Caitlin Clark had a double-double of 20 points and 13 assists. Aliyah Boston had 21 points and 13 rebounds. NaLyssa Smith also was impressive with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Kelsey Mitchell led the way with 28 points.
