Edgar Allan Poe Speakeasy coming to Knoxville soon! Here's what we know.

If you're a fan of the 19th-century literary genius Edgar Allan Poe, you're in for a treat. A new speakeasy featuring some of his best works, paired with cocktails is coming to Knoxville.

The Edgar Allan Poe Speakeasy will be in Knoxville from July 18 to 20. The speakeasy will feature four of Poe's most famous stories. The event will be at The Relix Venue at 1208 N. Central St.

Each story will have a matching cocktail to go with it in the 90 minute experience.

Tickets for Edgar Allan Poe Speakeasy

Shows are at 6 p.m., 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Thursday and Friday. On Saturday, show times are expanded at noon, 2 p.m., 4 p.m., 6 p.m., 8 p.m. and 10 p.m.

Tickets range from $48 to $62 depending on the time and date of the show and can be bought online at edgarallanpoebar.com/tickets.

What stories will be read at the Edgar Allan Poe Speakeasy?

Each of the stories will be performed live in a reimagined way. The stories performed will be "The Tell-Tale Heart," "The Raven," "The Masque of Red Death" and "The Black Cat."

What cocktails will be at the Edgar Allan Poe Speakeasy?

There are four cocktails to match the four stories that will be performed at the speakeasy.

  • Pale Blue Eye: Blueberry vodka, fresh lemon, rose syrup and La Croix
  • Cocktail of Red Death: 100-proof vodka, Cherry Heering, benedictine liquor, lime juice, pineapple juice and bitters
  • Edgar's Twisted Brandy Milk Punch: Kentucky bourbon, French brandy, vanilla cream, milk syrup, half and half, topped with star anise
  • The Nevermore: Orange peach blossom, lime juice and secret spices
