A new application note discusses how the PAL3 RTC autosampler was used to automate the sample preparation steps for the analysis of SVOCs according to EPA 8270E. Using an Agilent 8890 GC and 7000 Series triple quadrupole mass spectrometer, the method was found to meet the acceptance criteria for more than 90 out of 100 compounds. The PAL3-GC/TQ system exhibited excellent sensitivity and selectivity to target analytes while reducing the use of chemicals, standards, and waste. More information about the PAL3 Series 2 autosampler can be found at: https://bit.ly/3VSIwJe #gaschromatography #gcms #wateranalysis #svocs
