The IEA recently released its Electricity Grids and Secure Energy Transitions report to look at where we stand today. The report reveals that at least 3,000 GW of #renewableenergy projects are waiting in grid connection queues—a major bottleneck to the clean energy transition. The consequences of the interconnection process are huge. We need a reform overhaul. If developers can’t make it through the interconnection process, we won’t meet climate goals. Here's a closer look on the report’s findings: https://brnw.ch/21wEcs9
