There is only 1 more day left in AHRC Suffolk’s 2024 Membership Campaign! Please consider joining our collective voice and contributing to our campaign if you haven’t already done so! Every member we have who chooses to support us, helps us further our mission and goals immensely. It takes a village, and we are lucky to have the strongest group of people in ours! Last year we had around 300 members, and we need to DOUBLE that number this year. For $15 you are helping us increase our support base and most importantly, strengthen our voice when advocating for people in the disability community and our staff. This years $15 contribution goes towards: 💰 Your 2024 AHRC Suffolk Membership fee 🤩 AHRC Suffolk's Annual Fashion Show Event 😍 AHRC Suffolk's NEW Employee Assistance Fund Visit our website to register online: https://lnkd.in/eJ4KawpA

We would like to congratulate Mary Fu, AHRC Suffolk’s Chief Advancement Officer and Nicole L. Weingartner, Long Island Lobbyist and AHRC Suffolk Foundation Board member, for a successful inaugural event for Her Long Island Influence! Mary and Nicole created @herlongislandinfluence to provide women on Long Island a space to connect and support one another personally and professionally. Mary and Nicole are two leaders who give their all everyday to fight for the causes and people they believe in. We are lucky to have such fearless leaders support our agency! In attendance from AHRC Suffolk was Teresa Demarco, Advancement and Communications Coordinator and Christina Goerler, Foundation Board President! Sky is the limit for these two powerful women and we are happy to support them.

AHRC Suffolk recently held its first blood drive since the pandemic at our Bohemia location. We had 45 people registered to donate and 41 pints of blood collected, which far exceeded our original goal and will go on to save 123 lives! Thank you to the wonderful staff from the New York Blood Center, and all of our staff, families and friends who came out to donate. The team at the New York Blood Center makes it seamless to host a drive and we are glad to have the opportunity to assist others in saving lives! #nybloodcenter #newyorkbloodcenter #blooddrive
