Let's talk about a job we recently placed. We know it’s hard to find a job right now and we’re committed to bringing some transparency to the process. ✍🏽 A long-time client of ours, a leader in the FinTech space, came to us looking for a freelance digital marketing copywriter for a 3-month contract out of their LA-area office. They ideally wanted someone who had written about finance and preferably someone with experience in the tech space. The catch? They needed them to start ASAP. ✍🏽 Quick overview: ▪️80 Total applications, each reviewed by an Artisan recruiter *only posted on our site for a few days* ▪️4 Qualified candidates submitted to the client ▪️2 Final round interviews ▪️1.5 Weeks of the hiring process ▪️1 Candidate hired ✍🏽 The final candidate was selected because her writing assignment was exactly what they were looking for and she had experience with Meta’s financial arm. And the most important part? Her schedule aligned with the company’s. Takeaway: Companies are still in the driver’s seat.
