This week SAVOR hosted the 2nd annual U.S. division of the World Young Chef, Young Waiter, Young Mixologist competition in Napa, California. SAVOR and ASM Global sponsored the competition as part of their investment into the future of the hospitality industry. Twelve contestants competed in a series of challenges in front of a renowned panel of industry and celebrity judges. WorldYYY seeks to find the most talented chefs, waiters and mixologists aged 28 and younger. Winners of the U.S. competition will move on to compete with 12 other countries in Singapore for the title of Best in the World. Congratulations to the finalists and winners on showing off your skills and passion for the hospitality industry!

MANAGEMENT EXTENSION ANNOUNCEMENT 📣 The Detroit Regional Convention Facility Authority has awarded ASM Global a contract extension to manage Huntington Place, Michigan's largest convention center. Through this partnership, ASM Global will play a vital role in the venue's strategic initiatives including a connected convention center hotel, generating new revenue streams and continuing to deliver an exceptional guest experience. Safety, Skills and Smiles: the focus of the Pennsylvania Convention Center's newly-opened, first-of-its-kind training center. Continuing our Ohio takeover! 📣 👏   ASM Global is proud to have won the management contract to open and operate Cincinnati’s reimagined Duke Energy Convention Center.   ASM will work with the City of Cincinnati on a dramatic $200+m transformation including an 800-room hotel and 90,000 additional square ft. of exhibition space set to open in 2026. In honor of National Culinary Month, we wanted to highlight our chefs who are always innovating! Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre with ASM Global (APAC) recently launched a new, sustainable menu called Seasoned By Queensland, that incorporates a variety of food from local farmers, fishers, and producers in order to give guests a true taste of their region. The new menu will allow guests to indulge in the true, authentic flavors of Australia while dining at the Centre.
