One of my favorite and most successful hedge fund clients is looking to hire a Tax Director to report into the Head of Tax. They are one of, if not, the top long/short hedge fund out there with significant multi-strategy aspects, as they have a credit fund and are actively expanding their private equity investments (launching a 2nd PE fund currently).  They offer a work hard, play hard culture, with free lunch, free medical benefits, a lot of exciting things going on, a summer outing upstate to the CEO's property every year, and much more. Private Equity Controller Search - Must have previous fund administration experience and currently at a direct fund. NYC based $2bAUM shop is hiring a Controller to support the CFO and review the admin. Must have waterfall calculation experience and experience with Form PF/ADV. Senior Accountant Search - Stamford This will support the CAO and Director of Accounting; and have the opportunity to work with the Executive team as the company continues to grow and win new business to build out the accounting and finance infrastructure. The company is backed by one of the major investment firms and they have revenues north of $500m with an EIBTA of 50% revenue. Many of the customers are countries which issue government contracts in the 10-20 year range. The position will have oversight of accounting, reporting, expense management, acquisition integrations, managing the audit, shareholder requests and other projects. They would like to speak with someone who has the auditor mindset to do things right and help support the growth with 3-6 years on hands on accounting or audit experience.
