Throughout the summer, our Hawks Basketball Academy hosted the 2024 Jr. Hawks Summer Camps presented by adidas impacting over 750 youth aged eight to 14. The camps were held at five locations in Metro Atlanta in June and July, including a week dedicated to young female athletes called Lady Ballers Summer Hoop Fest powered by Google Cloud. These camps offered a fun, safe, and inclusive environment for young Hawks fans to enhance their basketball skills. Since 2015, our Hawks Basketball Academy has impacted more than 10,000 youth through our Summer Camps Program across six counties throughout Metro Atlanta. This summer, we partnered with QuikTrip (QT) to host pop-up basketball clinics for over 1,500 youth as part of our 2024 Community Court Tour presented by QuikTrip. The tour included basketball and fitness activities led by our Basketball Academy coaching staff, with appearances by Hawks alumni and players at 14 of our community basketball courts in Atlanta. In addition, together with QT, we teamed up with 'Rhymes with Reason' to promote literacy through a program using music on tablets, courtesy of Microsoft. Kids had the chance to shop for books at a free book fair, take part in a literacy competition, and receive a one-week supply of groceries from Goodr, an Atlanta-based social impact startup.
