Meet Michael Rominiecki, a manager in the analytics web systems department. 👋 He has been with the Company for 13 years and has held positions in three different departments. His coworkers describe him as being, "Flooded with positive energy." When a crisis arises, Mike is ready to solve the problem by being level-headed and unflappable. In addition to his daily responsibilities, Mike also serves as a go-to meteorologist for many associates who use the Company's internal messaging system. When asked how his interest in tracking the weather came about, Mike said, "I remember the weather channel was one channel number down from ESPN growing up, so I kind of just started watching it on TV during commercial breaks between baseball highlights. Every year growing up, my family visited the beach in Delaware for summer vacation, and one year, Hurricane Felix was tracking close to the Mid-Atlantic coast, and I was glued to the weather channel checking to see if I’d be able to go boogie boarding that day or not. I’ve always been most interested in severe weather - hurricanes, tornadoes, thunderstorms - so my interest and weather posts often peak in summertime each year." Outside of work and tracking the weather, Mike loves spending time with his wife and two kids, his four cats and 20 freshwater fish, or cheering on the Philadelphia Phillies and Philadelphia Eagles.
