Today Bally’s Corporation released new renderings for Bally's Chicago permanent site. Bally’s Chicago Casino development will harness the beauty of the urban Chicago riverfront site to create inclusive, dynamic spaces, including plans for the 500-room hotel tower, 3,000-seat theater, six restaurants, cafes and a food hall, and a 2-acre public park. The casino will offer space for approximately 3,400 slots, 170 table games and VIP gaming areas. The lower riverbank will be connected to the property with an approximately 2,000-foot-long extension of the riverwalk extending south from W. Chicago Avenue. Just nine months after opening its temporary location in the historic Medinah Temple, Bally’s Chicago Casino welcomed its 1 millionth visitor, Don Neushwander and his partner, Hwa, from Morris, IL, who walked in together and were awarded the grand prize. Bally’s Chicago has consistently had the second most admissions of any casino in the state since its opening in September 2023. Monthly admissions increased 48 percent between September 2023 and May 2024, and the number of new and returning guests continues to climb. In addition, Bally’s has safely hosted 1 million visitors without disruption to the River North community. The casino collaborates regularly with the Chicago Police Department and Chicago Fire Department to proactively provide for visitor and resident safety, as well as mitigate any impact on traffic.
