🚀 Meet NASA expert, Karma Snyder as she answers our questions to help students registered in Athenian's Mission to Mars Contest develop their stories. Her position is the NASA Stennis Space Center Range Safety Manager, and she is responsible for the safe operation of any range activity that takes place within the boundaries of the Stennis Space Center, including the use of restricted airspace and the use of Stennis’ waterways. After accepting a position with NASA at Stennis Space Center, Karma has served in many roles including System Integration Engineer, Test Operations Engineer, Systems Analyst, and Project Manager in support of numerous test programs. She served as the Systems Engineer for the Space Launch System Core Stage Testing at Stennis Space Center, responsible for all test stand requirements to meet testing and mission success. Get her feedback on what the environment is like on base as a team tests and prepares for a mission. Her input can help you with writing prompts 1 & 2 as you continue to develop your story.
