It has been pretty hot up here in Toronto, I could use a big ass fan to cool me down. That is right, I said ass in a LinkedIn post, but hear me out! That is what this week's exhibitor spotlight is all about, some Big Ass Fans! I met Big Ass Fans at FABTECH Expo 2024 in Toronto and they had a pretty cool walk through booth. Big Ass Fans sells massive industrial fans, coolers, and heaters, mostly for industrial and commercial use, but they also have some residential options. The real reason I wanted to spotlight them today though was the name. It is rare that you see a company boldly using the word "ass" in their brand, but here, it is a statement. I spoke with one of the booth reps at this exhibit and the story goes like this: BIG ASS FANS was originally named the “HVLS Fan Company”, which obviously doesn't stand out. It was once they got known for their massive products that sales leads would contact that them asking, "do you sell those big ass fans?". As this kept happening, the company rebranded and embraced their reputation as the company that does indeed sell those big ass fans. As Big Ass Fans attends different trade shows that cover their targets, they loudly display their bold brand name at their exhibit, further amplified by their use of their standout yellow brand colours. When at your next show, do not be shy to boldly show your brand and do something more intense to stand out. Attendee foot traffic can be finicky and sometimes you just need to freeze them in their place, before you blow their minds. #ExhibitorMarketing #TradeShow #Branding

Last week we had the honor of celebrating the storied racing career of Cody's Wish and the special bond he shared with Cody Dorman. Thank you to the Dorman family, Godolphin, and to everyone who had a part in this story for allowing us to join them on this journey, to witness the incredible bond between Cody and Cody’s Wish, and to see history being made. We intend to continue Cody Dorman's legacy in partnership with the Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana Foundation by helping to fund a future wish in his name.
