Last week we wrapped up the summer program by celebrating our interns, and all of their hard work and achievements throughout the internship! Our interns were able to connect with their peers from other cities in Tennessee, Kentucky, Indiana, Nebraska, Ohio, and New Jersey to have some fun and to share their experiences throughout the internship. We wish the best to these interns as they have very bright futures ahead of them, and we are SO PROUD of all of their hard work throughout this summer!

We’re excited to share the highlights from Bowen’s annual Day of Service! A heartfelt thank you to Citizens Energy Group, Indy Parks and Recreation, our generous donors, and all the volunteers who made this transformation possible.

Bowen Day of Service 2024 🌳 We are proud to partner with Citizens Energy Group and Indy Parks and Recreation for Bowen's annual day of service at Municipal Gardens Park in Indianapolis! Over 75 volunteers came together to complete various tasks such as mulching, assembling a pergola, painting railings, building raised beds, clearing overgrowth, building a bike rack and gaga ball pit, and much more! This year, three of our interns took the lead in managing the transformation of Municipal Gardens Park in Indianapolis. This years project was special to both us and Citizens Energy Group as the location coaligns with Citizens Energy Group's "Sharing the Dream" event in the winter. A huge thanks to Citizens Energy Group, Indy Parks and Recreation-recreation, all our generous donors, and the 75+ volunteers who joined us in making a positive impact on the community in Indianapolis!

This video shows a laser scan conducted at a power plant in Southern Indiana. Bowen uses in-house 3D laser scanning equipment to best understand existing conditions of an area before, during, & after a project. This point cloud data can be combined with a design model or fully converted into a 3D model. #laserscan #3D #construction #VDC #teambowen #powerplant

Happy National Intern Day! Thankful for all of our present and past interns that are building our future!

On Friday our team in Columbus, IN had the privilege of contributing to The Lincoln-Central Neighborhood Family Center! Our team was able to do work on the exterior of their garage and community garden including pouring concrete for a section of the sidewalk, laying down new rock and mulch in the landscape, replacing gutters, putting up a garden fence, adding a new flagpole, installing a front rail to the doorway, and more. Special thanks to intern Payton Faulk for leading this project and to everyone who joined us in this effort to support to the local community!

One of our Indianapolis teams is working on installing underground pipe in the Indy area and put the final touches on a new manhole that was built. Keep up the great work! #TeamBowen #construction #water #wastewater #SQP
