Our Atlanta medical and senior living division recently got together at the FORTH Hotel to discuss industry trends and best practices. The hotel is located at 760 Ralph McGill, a mixed-use development project we completed earlier this year.

In Mobile, Alabama, our project team has reached the first of four "ready for jigs and tools" milestones at the Airbus A320 Final Assembly Line project. This milestone allows Airbus's jigs and tools contractor to begin installing the platforms and equipment used to assemble the Airbus aircrafts. It's great to be one step closer to delivering this facility to Airbus!

The new UAB Medical West Hospital is now open in Bessemer, Alabama! 🎉 This stunning replacement hospital features 200 beds, a medical office building, a surgical and endoscopy suite, a pond with walking trail, and interior design inspired by Alabama nature. We're teaming up with the Birmingham Construction Industry Authority for a project outreach event to discuss the Coca-Cola Bottling Company UNITED Birmingham Campus project. Congratulations to Safety Manager Evan Williamson for receiving a Safety Excellence Award from Staff Zone! This award recognizes Evan's exceptional safety leadership at the Riverside Smithfield Hospital project in Virginia.

Our work with the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) blazes on. 🐲 We recently broke ground on the new Biomedical Research and Psychology Building. The eight-story facility will provide wet and dry laboratories and research spaces to help advance discoveries that will improve human health. Construction is expected to finish in early 2027. UAB is constructing a $190 million Biomedical Research and Psychology Building. The project is supported by $152 million of federal funding (80% of the project budget) from the Health Resources and Services Administration of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The remaining $38 million (20% of the project budget) are not federal funds.
