About us

The Burlington County Institute of Technology is a public, non-profit secondary and post-secondary institution. The foremost mission is to fully and comprehensively prepare adolescents and adults of Burlington County to enter the labor market and/or to continue their education in schools of higher learning. To this end, the Burlington County Institute of Technology shall: Respond to societal needs through the development of vocational programs which reflect the technological advances of the greater community and meet the needs of both adolescent and adult learners. Provide programs to enable all students to become productive, self-fulfilled, lifelong learners. Develop and maintain reciprocal relationships with both civic and business communities. Support community-wide social, cultural, counseling and vocational training programs, and jointly develop apprenticeship and occupational training programs with local businesses, industries, and educational institutions. Support students so that they can attain success in mastering the New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards in Grades 9 through 12 in a safe, secure, and caring environment.
