ClarkLindsey is ready to select a Memory Care superstar! This position will focus on ClarkLindsey's engagement programming that is specifically designed for those residents living with dementia. Those with previous successful experience with imagining strategy for impactful enrichment (i.e. calendars that will knock their socks off), leading education, and providing direct care will find fulfillment in this new role. As one chapter for us at ClarkLindsey ends, another begins. Broeren Russo Construction, Inc. and all of our subcontractor trade partners have been hard at work the past 2 weeks putting the finishing touches on the new Assisted Living and Memory Care wing, which is getting ready for new residents later this spring! Meanwhile, a little over 100 yards north, Mid Illinois Concrete & Excavation, Inc., Davis Electric and Davis-Houk Mechanical, Inc. are beginning the process of complete demolition of the recently vacated healthcare wings as the first step of construction for the new Independent Living wing scheduled to be under construction thru 2025!

Meet Jabari Freeman, Sr., one of ClarkLindsey's sous-chefs. When he began cooking at home with his chef father, Tim, eight-year-old Jabari Freeman knew right away that the only thing he wanted to be was a chef. He was so certain that he asked for, and received, a chef’s outfit for Christmas that year. His dad presented him with an apron, cooking utensils, and a briefcase containing his old professional knife kit. Jabari used these gifts for years as he learned knife skills, prepared meats and vegetables for main and side dishes, and cooked them.
