One of the annual ways we celebrate National Health Center Week, is a staff appreciation breakfast with self care events throughout the week. We are so grateful to the hundreds of staff who serve over 17,000 adults and children each year with compassionate, kind, and professional medical care! This year we served breakfast and distributed goodie bags, offered special decorated cookies, hosted a yoga class, a pilates class, a sound healing class, a happy hour, and friendship bracelet making. We hope staff enjoyed the week and we can't wait for next year! #ValueCHCs #NHCW24

Community health centers (CHCs) ensure their neighbors have care no matter their ability to pay. Today during #NHCW24, we celebrate the innovative ways health centers provide care for people experiencing homelessness. Health care services, like those available at the Stout Street Health Center, are critical for people experiencing homelessness who may endure higher rates of chronic and acute disease, behavioral health conditions, and other disparities that make them vulnerable to poor health, disability, and early death. Thank you to our amazing health care staff and CHCs around the country delivering life saving care to people experiencing homelessness. #ValueCHCs

This annual event highlights the essential role Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) play in improving public health and advancing health equity.
