Another progress update about our office relocation to North Florida Avenue! Back in February, our team decided that it was in our best interest to move to a larger office and warehouse space. Commercial Acoustics was contracted by DPR Construction to install acoustic treatment at BNY Mellon located in Lake Mary, FL. This included several kinds of acoustical ceiling treatment: tile, baffles, panels, and clouds. These products were placed throughout the building in conference rooms, dining areas, and office spaces. We opted in to using products designed by Arktura and Filzfelt to maintain aesthetics while bringing noise to a minimum. Our team recently completed an installation project for Light of Christ Church located in Clearwater, FL. This required installing 38 of our acoustic wall panels on every wall in the church to decrease the reverberation time from all corners. By doing the clap test, we found that it took a substantial amount of time for the noise to fade away. These wall panels will provide a more comfortable listening environment during church services. Excited to share our newest case study about the installation process at Chatham County Courthouse! Located in Savannah, GA, the courthouse stands four storeys tall, which required installing 8,923 sq ft of acoustic panels, planks, and fiberglass. Our team completed a beautiful installation for Fountain Life, a medical center located in Naples, FL. We collaborated with Third Lake Design and installed acoustic felt wall panels, as well as a wood finish. Not only do these products transform the aesthetics of the space, but they also provide a noticeable reduction in sound transmissions. Our team completed an acoustical installation for MCSD Elementary School located in Columbus, GA. We installed MBI acoustical panels throughout the music rooms, cafeteria, physical education rooms, media center, and nearby corridors. Varying colors and sizes of the panels were used to create a unique, geometric pattern that disguises the acoustics as decoration! Since the panels are made of a highly absorptive fiberglass core, they perform best in large areas like a school or church.
