Here at the CHART Conference in Chicago, Elizabeth Lombardo, Ph.D.'s keynote content was particularly impactful for hospitality trainers. That's because people who are in the "Red Zone" (a place of stress and fear) can't reason and learn properly. To get out of the Red Zone, you have to ACT (have Awareness, Change, and Transform your perspective). How can you "Change?" Try these actions: 🏃♂️ Do a physical activity 😃 Laugh 🎵 Listen to music 🌡 Change your temperature 🧘♂️ Breathe using the 4-7-8 technique She expanded our perspectives with the concept of "Mattering," and how crucial it is in life to feel like you add value and are valued as a person.
