At the start of July, many Culligan employees took the Plastic Free July pledge, committing to avoid single-use plastic products for the entire month.   Despite the challenges, Culligan employees shared innovative ways to replace items such as plastic grocery bags & water bottles. Forever chemicals in your water don’t have to be a forever problem. PFAS, called "forever chemicals" because of how long they take to break down, are increasingly present in our environment. Many people don’t know about them, and even if they do, they aren’t sure how to deal with them. In fact, it’s estimated that almost half the tap water in the U.S. contains PFAS. Eden Isle, located in Louisiana, invested $4 million in upgrading its water filtration system to enhance water quality for its residents. Culligan's North American C&I team partnered with Eden Isle to build a comprehensive treatment plan to consistently improve water in the area.
