🌟 Excited to announce our upcoming training event! 🌟 Join Rev. Christie Bates LPC, for a crucial workshop addressing the complex intersection of weight stigma and emotional health in treatment. Patients come in all shapes and sizes, often burdened by internalized weight stigma and histories of chronic dieting. As clinicians, we witness the transition from substance use to a focus on body weight and shape—but supporting recovery can be challenging in a culture that normalizes disordered behaviors. This workshop offers a deep dive into these issues through self-reflection, case studies, and the latest research on weight, health, and the benefits of weight-neutral attitudes. Gain essential insights to better support your patients' holistic recovery journey. 📅 Date: Wednesday, August 21, 2024 📍 Location: Cumberland Heights, 8283 River Road, Nashville, TN 🔗 Register now at https://lnkd.in/enkTBGvW and be part of the change! #WeightStigma #EmotionalHealth #RecoverySupport #ClinicianTraining #WeightNeutralAttitudes #HolisticHealth
