Thank you Lansing Economic Area Partnership | LEAP for supporting our communities!
We're thrilled to announce the recipients of our Small Town Enhancement Grant! This program is designed to support rural communities by revitalizing public gathering spaces. 🌳🏡 "Small rural community, mainstreet, and agriculture assistance are key parts of our broader regional strategy," says Bob Trezise, President & CEO of LEAP. "We want everyone in our three-county region to take pride in where they live and work, which adds up to more investment, jobs, and necessary population growth." In partnership with the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC), we awarded six grants to communities across Clinton, Eaton, and Ingham Counties. The projects include business improvements, community beautification, and creating new gathering spaces. LEAP will be on the road to kick off these projects from July 9-11 to celebrate these exciting projects: Village of Vermontville (July 9, 12:30 PM) Dimondale (July 9, 3 PM) Stockbridge (July 10, 12:30 PM) City of Leslie (July 10, 3 PM) Village of Maple Rapids (July 11, 12:30 PM) Ovid (July 11, 3 PM) We can't wait to see the positive impact these projects will have on our communities!
