🌍 Transforming Education: The Power of Learning Teams 🌍 We are excited to share the latest research on Learning Teams for Foundational Learning from #LGI supported by the What Works Hub for Global Education. Here are three key takeaways from the report: ➡ Holistic Support for Every Learner: Learning team approaches bring together diverse professionals, including teachers, specialists, and community members, to address the unique needs of each child. By leveraging expertise from various sectors, these teams ensure that learners receive comprehensive support in academics, health, and socio-emotional well-being. ➡ Enhanced Teaching and Collaboration: The evidence is clear—teachers thrive in collaborative environments. Learning teams provide opportunities for peer collaboration, coaching, and mentoring, leading to more effective teaching practices and improved student outcomes. Programs like Funda Wande in South Africa and Teaching at the Right Level in India demonstrate the positive impact of such approaches on foundational literacy and numeracy. ➡ Scalability and Sustainability: Embedding learning team approaches within government policy and practice can lead to greater scalability and long-term impact. By identifying and integrating existing human and social capital, and fostering cross-sector collaboration, these approaches can be sustained and expanded to benefit more students, especially in low- and middle-income contexts. Together, we can reimagine the education workforce and create inclusive, supportive, and effective learning environments for all. Let's continue the conversation and explore how learning teams can transform education worldwide.
