  • During groundwork for a new tower foundation, it's not uncommon to find historical artifacts revealing fascinating glimpses into the past. The discovery of 800-year-old pottery and tool fragments, for example, reminds us that beneath our modern infrastructure lies a treasure trove of history from a simpler time. When such artifacts are found, industry professionals collaborate with historians and archaeologists to ensure these valuable pieces are preserved and studied. This practice underscores the industry's commitment to respecting and preserving our shared heritage as we continue to build for the future.

  • South Carolina-based HTC inc. (Horry Telephone Cooperative) is a full-service technology provider for residential and business services in Horry, Georgetown, and Marion Counties. With the largest fiber-optic network in the region, HTC connects more than 100,000 subscribers. Recently, while we were busy expanding HTC's WiFi network, they invited us to be featured in their Life Connections community publication. Quicker than you can say 'high-speed internet,' Addison was photographed via drone, doing what he does best—looking awesome! Addison can now proudly add "Magazine Model" to his list of professional accomplishments. Nice job, Addison! And no, you can't have an agent.

  • No shadow of a doubt. This well-timed snap captures the recent eclipse in its full glory, with a 300-foot self-supporting tower playing a close supporting role. No filters, no edits, and absolutely no AI wizardry involved; just pure, unadulterated cosmic spectacle captured by Danny, a member of our central inspections team. Every so often, the universe aligns just right, and all it takes is being there to capture the moment. #Telecommunications #EclipseMagic #TowerPower

We’re excited to talk about one of our latest projects: providing inspection, structural, and architectural engineering services for the City of Oakland’s digital kiosk program. Designed to enhance community access to city services and WiFi through a public/private partnership, 50 kiosks are planned for this year. Our team provided engineering verification and construction drawings for Orlando-based G Squared Poles. We continue expanding our engineering services client base beyond commercial wireless infrastructure, supporting urban initiatives like this, commercial real estate developments, EV charging, and more. #EngineeringInnovation #CommunityDevelopment #DigitalKiosk

  • We're stepping up our game to meet demand for underground fiber installation. That shiny Vermeer you see? Well, it's about to get its tracks dirty in the red clay soil of North Carolina and nearby areas. Ricky Garceau, our Fiber Division Manager and a seasoned veteran in the industry, is already planning ahead, eyeing up more equipment to stay ahead of the curve. "We're expecting to add additional crews soon, so careful planning is key," Ricky emphasizes, and he's not wrong. Also, the finance department wants to remind you that these machines don't come cheap! So, Ricky, let's get those drills spinning because there's work to be done! #fibernetworks #broadband #hdd
