Despite progress against colorectal cancer, continuing racial disparities mean Black adults are still more likely to develop and die from this disease. A new paper, published in Journal of the National Cancer and based on research sponsored by Exact Sciences, offers new opportunities to address these disparities. The model predicts that eliminating racial disparities in follow-up colonoscopy and colonoscopy quality would dramatically reduce colorectal cancer incidence and deaths among Black adults.
