Thousands of pounds of food were sorted by #TeamExtraSpace at the HonorHealth Desert Mission Food Bank in Phoenix. Leaders from Division 98100 gathered to support their community, spending half of the day serving in a local warehouse. Nicole Hunt, Divison Vice President, commented: "Desert Mission does some incredible work in serving the Phoenix area. Last year they served over 74,000 people but they also have adult health care, accredited child learning centers, and resource centers to provide folks the help they need. "This week the team and I sorted through packaged food as well as fresh potatoes which will be given out throughout the week. Food banks are a critical resource in the community, and we were so grateful to support their mission." We are always grateful for willing team members who set aside time to give back through community service projects like this. Thank you to all who participated! #leadership #givingback #culture

What has white hair, is very strong, and loves a crowd at the zoo? If you guessed a polar bear, you're close... It's Noah Springer! 😉 All jokes aside, teammates at our corporate office and their immediate family members gathered for an evening full of fun at Utah's Hogle Zoo. Exhibits were visited, animal shows were watched, and appealing prizes were given. And despite the 100-degree weather, we had a great time together. Anastasia has dedicated herself to making significant contributions to her community through her volunteer work with CENTRAL PARK ANGELS INC. This non-profit organization, led by women, focuses on engaging local communities, businesses, and individuals to support relief efforts in Ukraine, reflecting the values of compassion and collaboration. Over the past two years, Anastasia's involvement with Central Park Angels has been profoundly impactful. This spring, she played a crucial role in organizing a Winter Survival Essentials Drive for Ukraine, successfully gathering over 8,000 pounds of vital supplies, including winter clothing, footwear for children and adults, blankets, and towels. Project Destined connects over 8,000 students from 1,300 colleges and universities with firms in the real estate industry. We were fortunate to host students for a six-week bridge program earlier this year. Together, we created a short highlight reel about what that experience was like. Enjoy!
