FCCI and our Agribusiness division thank farm workers across the country by celebrating FARMWORKER APPRECIATION DAY on August 6. This day brings awareness and shows appreciation to those individuals who play a critical role in food production, from planting to irrigating, fertilizing, harvesting and packing. We applaud their efforts and give thanks for the nutritious fruits, vegetables, grains, dairy and meats that we consume every day and often take for granted.

FCCI honors National Civility Month, an observance highlighting the importance of kindness. This month is dedicated to promoting and reinforcing the principles of respect, civility and empathy in our daily interactions, both within our organization and external communities.

A group of FCCI Young Professionals volunteered at The Twig on July 19, to sort and organize sneakers for The Twig's annual "Sneakin' Back to School Shoe Drive."
