7 years on my recovery journey.
On July 30, 2017, I drank the last drink I would ever have, ending my use of all mind-altering substances. Many of you know my story, while some are just getting to know me, and tragically, some never got the chance to know me because their lives were cut short so to this disease.
That version of me doesn’t exists anymore but I will never forget her.Today I am living my dreams life I once only dreamed of. Today, I am proud of the life I live, and I show up for my children, who trust that when I leave, I will return. I have rebuilt broken relationships and now show up for myself, my family, and my community. People enjoy being around me, I am a leader in my community and online and I am using my strong testimony as a testament to what God can do and the power of His amazing grace.
I have dedicated my life in recovery to helping others who are and were just like me and the person you see on the left. Addiction doesn’t discriminate and all of us have a life that is worthy of living if we can find our way out. I am here to help inspire those around me and to lend a hand to those in need. This is what it means to me to be an Addict with Purpose ♥️ follow me on Facebook and see all the great things im doing out in the community to help others outside of work.
